Woke Capitalism Revs Into High Gear: 90 CEOs Gather to Fight 'Undemocratic' Voter Integrity Laws

Roughly 100 of America’s top corporate leaders and CEOs gathered both in-person and virtually on Saturday to strategize ways to combat new election integrity laws like Georgia’s H.B. 531. Jeffrey Sonnenfeld, a Yale University management professor who helped organize the meeting, framed it as a response to threats of reprisals after Georgia-based companies like Delta Air Lines, Coca-Cola, and Aflac Insurance condemned the Georgia bill. He called election integrity measures “anti-undemocratic.â€
“The gathering was an enthusiastic voluntary statement of defiance against threats of reprisals for exercising their patriotic voices,†Sonnenfeld told CBS News. The corporate leaders “recognize that they need to step up to the plate and are not fearful of these reprisals. They’re showing a disdain for these political attacks. Not only are they fortifying each other, but they see that this spreading disease of voter restrictions from Georgia to up to possibly 46 other states is based on a false premise and its’ anti-democratic.â€
Former President Donald Trump called for a boycott of Delta, Coca-Cola, and Major League Baseball (MLB) and other companies after they condemned the Georgia law, repeating Democratic talking points that smeared the legislation. “Boycott all of the woke companies that don’t want Voter I.D. and Free and Fair Elections,†Trump said in a statement last week.

That the involvement of corporate giants in politics is beyond increasingly aggressive -- extending beyond their standard purchase of lobbyists to benefit themselves to throwing their weight around to dictate partisan debates -- seems obviously dangerous.

Local media reported some looting taking place in a number of areas and Brooklyn Center Mayor Mike Elliott announced on Twitter he was issuing a curfew until 06:00.
Shocking images emerged this morning from Minneapolis where BLM rioters destroyed most of the woke corporation businesses that send them support.
Stores from Target, Nike, Speedway, T-Mobile, and many more were ransacked yesterday.
They received a brutal dose of reality as many of them did send support to these violent rioters.

Hard as I have looked, I have not been able to find a comprehensive list of the 90 companies involved for us to boycott. If anyone else can locate it, please let us know....

It is shocking. You would think grown ups would remember history. Corporatism supporting an ever increasing totalitarian state is like swimming with sharks. They may not eat you right away, but eventually you will be on the menu. After the govt consumes the corporations we will have socialism.

What these corporate CEO's are doing has nothing to do with principle and everything to do with political control.
Also, once govt controls the markets the "woke capitalists" will have a guaranteed market share. The govt will make it impossible for new "less woke" businesses to compete with the "good woke" businesses.
These CEO's don't care if they destroy the country and end the ability of people to rise up out of meager beginnings and become great successes. They just want money and they don't care what they do to get. I haven't looked at the full list of companies but I bet it's a safe bet most are doing business in China and have no problem using slave labor.

I was stuck at home for a couple months with a drop foot, so I figured I would try to improve my mind in the process. I read Gulac Archipelago which is a terrifying account of where all this "woke" garbage ends up.

After all,they are smartest,the best-looking,and the shrewdest businessmen in all the universe,so what do THEY have to worry about?
