You Are Not Hamas – You Are Just a Spoiled American Brat Indoctrinated by Liberal Nonsense
Posted By: Michael Bresciani April 24, 2024

Nothing an American college student espouses today, would have more than a 24-hour shelf life, in any major Muslim country on the planet – this is the rule.

A few conservative and Christian schools may be an exception to the rule, but most liberal Ivy League and graduate schools would come under the rule, in fact they are what prove the rule.

While NYC Mayor Adams is a solid Democrat, he has declared that not all the protestors are part of NYU Columbia.

Fox news says “Mayor Eric Adams and New York City Police Department top brass condemned “outside agitators” for fanning the flames of anti-Israel protests at Columbia and New York University as police made more arrests.

At his usual Tuesday press conference from City Hall, Adams, a Democrat and former police officer, praised the NYPD’s response.

We can’t have outside agitators come in and be destructive to our city,” Adams said. “Someone wanted something to happen at that protest at NYU.”

Barnard Caves, Offers to Lift Most Student Suspensions Over Protests at Columbia
Leah Barkoukis

The president of Barnard College has offered to lift suspensions of students who participated in an unauthorized encampment at Columbia University last week following strong criticism from Rep. Ilhan Omar's daughter and faculty.

In the statement released Monday night, Barnard president Laura Rosenbury addressed the “challenging times” on campus and said those students who do not have previous disciplinary action against them may have their suspensions lifted and records cleared.

“The vast majority of the students on interim suspension have not previously engaged in misconduct under Barnard’s rules,” she said. “[T]he College sent written notices to these students offering to lift the interim suspensions, and immediately restore their access to College buildings, if they agree to follow all Barnard rules during a probationary period. If these students choose this path, neither the interim suspension nor the probationary period will appear on the students’ academic transcripts and these sanctions will not become part of students’ reportable disciplinary records barring a finding of responsibility under the Student Code of Conduct for future misconduct. The remaining students on interim suspension have previously received notices regarding misconduct, and the College is committed to addressing these situations quickly yet thoughtfully through our conduct process.”

In Trump's economic weight class, I can sure see that. And yes, there are people who some might pay that much to just go away. (I don't negotiate with terrorists, and people like that can blow up a marriage, even if nothing wrong was done.)

Trump's lawyer approached her and the playboy bunny for the NDAs. They were trying to contain his past before running for President.

And people with full time lawyers don't placate those who make false claims, they economically destroy them.

But none of what was done is illegal.

Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs vetoes bipartisan bill to combat squatting, election bills

Democrat Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs has vetoed a bill aimed at strengthening the rights of homeowners looking to evict squatters from their property, despite the bill being passed in bipartisan fashion and as a wave of squatting cases continue to terrify homeowners across the country.

The bill, SB 1129, would have permitted a homeowner to request law enforcement to immediately remove a squatter from their property, had the squatter invaded a home and unlawfully claimed a right to live there.

Police, acting on an owner’s affidavit, would have had the permission to immediately go in and have someone evicted.

But Hobbs nixed the bill on Tuesday in a short letter to the president of the State Senate.

"Today I vetoed Senate Bill 1129," Hobbs wrote. "This bill fails to leverage existing legal mechanisms, respect the due process rights of lawful tenants, and minimize unintended consequences such as for victims of domestic violence."

She did not expand on her reasoning.

The bill was crafted by state Sen. Wendy Rogers who slammed Hobbs’ decision, the latest in a spate of vetoes issued by the governor. ...............

Would this even be constitutional?

You’re punishing people for freely moving around  the country. Why don’t they just Forget the tax and build  an iron curtain around the blue states so people can’t leave?

Since when have people like this given a damn about the constitution?

Luckily, I don't have $30 million ... yet ... but Dems will eventually lower the threshold just as fisherman use nets with smallers holes to catch smaller fish.

If you ain't got $30 million and live in Cali ... move out now before they lower that threshold.

We are way past "is it constitutional" on many fronts. We've moved from a constitutional republic to mob rule.

Catfish leaps with:
"...Fedzilla is going to have to fund it's bond habit by floating 5-6% treasuries for 30 years, instead of 2-4%."

I've recently started buying t-bills, with the shortest term (4 weeks). Return seems to be right around 5.35% for the past few months.

A $100k bill will pay about $412 every 4 weeks (less whatever you wish paid directly the IRS for taxes).

You can set them to "re-invest" as many terms as you want (up to 2 years). You can also "bail out" at any time (by changing the number of terms of re-investment).

I've bought several, so that I get "a payoff" every Tuesday. I had to create a spreadsheet on the Mac to keep up with it all...!

Having said that, a friend just sent me an article (from CNN, sigh) that says the treasury is considering issuing a run of ONE-DAY t-bills, to cover a shortage of cash:

Chip Roy raises alarms about George Soros' purchase of radio giant Audacy

Chip Roy is accusing liberal billionaire George Soros of trying to fast-track his acquisition of a major radio company through the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

"I write today regarding Soros Fund Management’s acquisition of over $400 million in debt held by Audacy — the second-largest broadcast radio station owner in the country. Of particular concern, the Soros groups are asking the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to approve a change in ownership in Audacy without the FCC running its normal, statutorily required process," Roy said in a letter.

"This transaction, which affects radio stations that reach millions of listeners across the U.S., including in Texas’ 21st congressional district, should — at minimum — be subject to rigorous FCC oversight to ensure U.S. radio stations are not subject to undue influence.".............
