BREAKING NEWS: Head of Health Insurance Exchange Resigns

LAS VEGAS -- The executive director of the Silver State Health Insurance Exchange has resigned his post.
Jon Hager turned in his letter of resignation Thursday. His last day will be March 14.
The exchange was set up under the Affordable Care Act, otherwise known as Obamacare.
It allows Nevadans to shop for health insurance plans, but the website, which was designed to help people find those plans, has struggled with problems.
Hager told the board he was leaving to pursue new opportunities. The governing board of the exchange says it will consider candidates for the position in the coming weeks.
