Syrian Drone Downed Over Israeli Golan by Patriot Missile

A Syrian drone was intercepted by a Patriot missile over the Israeli Golan Heights on Thursday evening, the Israeli military said.
“The IDF will not allow any breach of Israel’s airspace and will act against any attempt of infiltration,” the military stated.
According to the IDF, the drone was under “full [Israeli Air Force] surveillance” while it was operating in Israeli air space, The Times of Israel reported.
The launch of the Patriot missile was captured in a video filmed in the northern Israeli city of Safed.

I can't tell much from the picture and had not heard that this happened, Thurs. or yesterday.

My guess is that Syria is trying to get Israel into the fight.
