Byron York: What campaign wouldn't seek motherlode of Clinton emails?
by Byron York | Jul 16, 2017, 6:01 PM

The public learned on March 10, 2015 that Hillary Clinton had more than 60,000 emails on her private email system, and that she had turned over "about half" of them to the State Department and destroyed the rest, which she said were "personal" and "not in any way related" to her work as Secretary of State.

The public learned later the lengths to which Clinton went to make sure the "personal" emails were completely and permanently deleted. Her team used a commercial-strength program called BleachBit to erase all traces of the emails, and they used hammers to physically destroy mobile devices that might have had the emails on them. The person who did the actual deleting later cited legal privileges and the Fifth Amendment to avoid talking to the FBI and Congress.

It is simply stunning how the story is about Trump and not Clinton and the litany of crimes she committed while SOS.  It is actually a stroke of political genius:  The President is being tarred and feathered with the sins of Hillary Clinton.  And Republicans/Conservatives are allowing it, many supporting it.

Say what you will about Democrats, but you've got to respect their ability to control the narrative and stick with it.  It is why the future of America is theirs to lose, and not ours.

I saw Byron York in an interview this morning, and I agree with him.  That said, there are times when politicians are expected to pull their punches, and Donald Trump, not being a professional politician before this run, was not savvy to that.

This is why the Clintons and other Rats always get away with murder, and it will be interesting to see if Trump survives all the brickbats, just in hopes of seeing him put an end to the practice.

Well, now we know who among the GOP puts party above country.  Who would suborn themselves to a hostile foreign nation for power.

There's a word for that sort of behavior, you know.

There is absolutely no evidence of subornation.  That's a strong accusation and you had better be prepared to prove it.

Giving hostile powers blackmail material to use against a sitting President isn't, in your book?
