He said the move is needed to protect ethnic Russians
We won't get nuked; however, we will have to deal with a Russian dominated Eastern Europe (again) for at least 20 years.

Obama is being pulled from a golf course. If they were normal they would seek the guidance of Kissinger, anyone but his cabinet officials.
I predict they won't, on Monday jug ears will address the nation again and say we are very very very concerned.
Obama cannot put the effed up foreign policy genie back in the bottle or blame anyone.
THIS is why the tea party is ticked off! We are screwed. This guy Obama is inept beyond belief if we get nuked we won't be here to complain.

Update #Ukraine: USS Obama on its way for confrontation with Putin. #tcot Russia
10:32 PM - 28 Feb 2014
Maybe this is what he meant when he told the Russian ambassador that he would be more flexible after the election. I think they are in cahoots, and Obama wants to see the Ukraine under Russia's domain.
Why should we expect aggressive acts from Obama, when Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush I, Clinton, and Bush II did not aggress against the USSR/Russia?
Besides, the Peace Dividend has been spent 100 times over, on food stamps.

?? Reagan "aggressed" against the Soviet Union to the point where they spent themselves into penury and broke their own political back for him. He was simply good enough at it that he didn't need to go "hot" to get his points across.
Sergei Aksenov, the head of the main pro-Russia party on the peninsula, said in a statement reported by local and Russian news agencies that he appealed to Russian President Vladimir Putin "for assistance in guaranteeing peace and calmness on the territory of the autonomous republic of Crimea."
In a twisted way, this is actually legal.
Crimea is an autonomous part of Ukraine, with it's own Parliament. It too, can invoke the Budapest Memorandum, to which Russia is a signatory.
I do have a sneaking suspicion that this is all smoke and mirrors though. While this is going on, who is looking at Syria and watching the conflict and WMDs there?
