The Job Creators Network’s (JCN) latest Times Square billboard calls out President Joe Biden and his administration’s false and misleading statements about inflation being nine percent when he took office.
“INFLATION…IT WAS AT 9 PERCENT WHEN I CAME IN OFFICE” the billboard reads. “HEY PAL. HOW MANY MORE TIMES DO WE HAVE TO HEAR THIS MALARKEY?! DO YOU THINK WE’RE STUPID OR SOMETHING?”
Indeed, Biden has repeatedly made false and misleading statements about inflation in recent weeks. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said President Biden falsely saying inflation was nine percent when he took office was meant to suggest that “the factors that caused inflation were in place when he walked into the administration when he took office.”
“Consumer prices have soared by 20 percent on President Biden’s watch, leaving small businesses and American families in difficult financial straits. But Biden continues to try to rewrite history in an attempt to deflect blame and bolster support ahead of the November election,” Alfredo Ortiz, Chief Executive Officer of the Job Creators Network, said in a statement.
“When Biden took office, inflation was at 1.4 percent, not 9 percent as he recently claimed. Does the White House think we’re stupid or something?”

COLUMBUS, GEORGIA — Kelly Loeffler may not be a U.S. senator anymore, but she hasn’t strayed far from the center of Georgia politics.
Loeffler made an appearance at the Georgia state GOP convention in Columbus Friday to talk about how Republicans can take back the Peach State. Flanked by conservative talk radio hosts Leo Terrell and Shelley Wynter, she hosted a “fireside chat” centered largely on how to win more black voters.
“Democrats need black voters more than black voters need the Democratic Party,” said Loeffler, who served in the Senate in 2020 and 2021 before losing her seat to Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA). “The Trump coalition is good for voters of every color, every religion, every creed.”
Terrell and Wynter, who are both black, agreed that African American voters can be brought into the GOP fold via aggressive outreach.
“It’s not about skin tone. That’s the Democratic playbook,” he said. “I’m old enough to remember a guy saying you judge a person by the content of his character and not the color of his skin. And that’s why we’re all here.”

Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), a freshman representative representing Dallas, and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) got into a heated argument during the House Oversight Committee hearing Thursday night.
The chaos in the hearing, which was pushed back to allow some Republicans time to go to New York in support of former President Donald Trump during his criminal hush money trial, started when Greene asked about Judge Juan Merchan’s daughter. Merchan is presiding over Trump’s trial. Crockett said the question was irrelevant to the hearing, which prompted Greene to insult Crockett’s eyelashes.
“I think your fake eyelashes are messing up what you’re reading,” Greene said.
Crockett later asked Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) for clarification regarding the rules on the House’s standard of decorum.
“I’m just curious, just to better understand your ruling,” Crockett said. “If someone on this committee then starts talking about somebody’s bleach-blonde, bad-built, butch body, that would not be engaging in personalities, correct?”
Crockett, who has quietly been making a name for herself as a Democratic agitator to counterbalance some of the more brash GOP personalities on the Oversight Committee, seemed to have burst onto the scene Thursday night, but she didn’t come from nowhere.

The RW misinformation industries has spread this false info for decades. It was debunked decades ago but still makes it rounds among conservative sites.
It was THE MEDIA that was predicting global cooling because the bad winters we were having back then and they were spreading sensationalized news. 44 of the top 49 scientific papers of the 1970's all said we was heading towards global warming
And the media is now promoting global heating. Funny how that works...isn't it.

The US loses 2000 acres to housing developments, factories, roads every single day. I posted last week if we went 100% solar the amount of land would be a drop in the ocean and gave the links. Not all solar is farm land. it's over parking lots, the desert, rooftops, garbage land and other areas.
How much of that 'sea level rise' is subsidence brought about by drawing down coastal aquifers?
Last time we had oceans here was in the Cretaceous, so I'm not worried.
Last time we had a kilometer of more of Ice here was only 12,000 years ago.
I'm opting for beachfront, if I get a choice.
