Was at COSTCO this morning for my Deer Park water run and noticed the PRIME rib-eyes are now $80 for pack of 5.    :thud:

But ... that's roughly $16.00/rib-eye.  Really not too bad if the quality is there.

Just trying to help members save a few bucks..they are t-bones btw..I too prefer bone in rib-eyes or filets

T-bones are good. I looked at Farmer Joe's ad - they have Braveheart Black Angus Potterhouse for $12.99/lb. and T-bones for $11.99/lb. --- not exactly the $6.99/lb., but for Angus -- it's a pretty decent price.  I'll pick up a couple of each - and that still takes a big chunk out of the ole budget.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems like the ICC regularly want to or does issue warrants for various leaders.  Then "poof" they go away.
Just trying to justify their own worthless existence.

Is the pink from the inserted mRNA?

Well, first he has to win re-election .... if he does, I am confident that he will seek retribution.  How far he'll be able to carry any of those desires out is questionable.

I listen to this Meatloaf album and am instantly transported back to high school. Thanks for the review.
P.S. I vehemently disagree with you on “Heaven Can Wait” and “For Crying Out Loud”. Loved the theatrics of both songs. (But it might be because I’m a girl…)

My first exposure to Mr Meatloaf was when he did vocals on a couple of Ted Nugent songs on “Cat Scratch Fever.” He was excellent.

General Discussion / Re: $400 for one pineapple: The rise of luxury fruit
« Last post by 240B on Today at 10:16:15 pm »
The $400 dollar pineapple is not a new thing. In the Victorian era, in Europe and globally, fruit was in fact a symbol of status. In Victorian times, to have an eatable pineapple or bananas on your table was mind-blowing for your guests.

Those guys hosting guests paid enormous money for the privilege.

C'mon, Victor.
Spit out a policy that will actually do something, such as...

Fishrrman's "College Fix":
(a Fishrrman original)

Close the universities.
Send the students home and tell them to get a real job.
Fire the faculties and administrators and BLACKLIST them from ever working in education again.
Give the campuses away to the homeless and illegals, they'll make better use of them.

Keep ONLY the professional schools (medical, scientific, technical) where the students might actually LEARN something. But give those institutions a "good cleaning out", as well.

Perhaps keep a modicum of private schools that accept NO government funding. Hillsdale is an example.
Forbid "student loans" -- make them pay up in advance, or borrow the money privately.

Have I made myself clear?
