It is a great leveler. THAT'S why they hate it. https://defiantamerica.com/heres-the-full-list-of-major-companies-who-pulled-advertising-after-elon-musk-decided-to-make-twitter-a-free-speech-platform-for-all/

A list of companies who cater to Democrats.
-
Musk paid for the name and advertisers. The technology was worth a small fraction of what he paid.
It would have been far cheaper to have started a free speech competitor to Twitter.
-
Some advertisers are concerned that Mr. Musk could scale back content moderation, which they worry would lead to an increase in objectionable content on the platform.
Funny, they weren't concerned with the content which was objectionable to have the nation for all these years just because they were Conservative.
General Motors Co. paused its spending on the social-media platform last week.
General Motors the company that vowed to eliminate production of all ICE vehicles? Hell if they do that there won't be a General Motors, unless democrats bail their @sses out again.
Perused the General mills products and found nothing I couldn't do without and as for Oreos they have too much sugar to coexist with my diabetes.
I have never been a member of Twitter and never will, heck I never even read a twits tweets until I became a member here, but I would stop buying from these companies simply because they are pro socialist policies.

Cheaper, yes, but not more effective. Taking the high ground is not just to occupy it, but to deny it to the enemy.
By forcing even one major platform to toe the line, Musk has done a tremendous service to humanity.

While I don't disagree, it could end up being very expensive for him.

And it could be FAR less expensive once all the fraud suits against the former ownership are settled.

I wonder how many share holders of companies that are pulling their advertising are happy with the company they own a part of being more concerned with politics than making a profit and paying a dividend. It's not like they are pulling their ads because they claim they aren't seeing a return on the advertising.
I would bet some enterprising attorneys could make some money.
