London (CNN) — Police have said they are dealing with an incident at London Bridge in central London.
Images and video on social media shows emergency vehicles on the bridge, and onlookers including a BBC journalist reported hearing what sounded like gunshots at the scene.
The police service told CNN it is dealing with a "dynamic situation."
This is a breaking story. More to follow.

London Bridge has been cordoned off by police, with a BBC journalist reporting hearing gunfire.
BBC reporter John McManus said he saw a group of men involved in a fight on the bridge.
Police then arrived and shots were fired, he said.
The Met Police confirmed that it was dealing with an incident at London Bridge and advised people near the scene to follow directions from officers on the ground.

London Bridge shooting – Man ‘shot dead’ by police after several injured in knife rampage
Video footage shows heavily armed cops and members of the public surrounding and grappling with the man who is lying on the ground on the north side of the bridge.
The armed cops then order the members of the public to step away from the "tall bearded" man before he is shot by one of the firearms officers about 2pm.
It is believed that six people have been injured with three in a life-threatening condition.

AP news is reporting it’s terror related.
LONDON (AP) — British police shot a man on London Bridge in the heart of Britain’s capital on Friday after a stabbing that left several people wounded.
The Metropolitan Police force said the circumstances were still unclear, but “as a precaution, we are currently responding to this incident as though it is terror-related.â€
Scores of police, some armed with submachine guns, rushed to the scene after reports of a stabbing, ushering bemused office workers and tourists out of an area packed with office buildings, banks, restaurants and bars. Staff in office blocks in the area were told to stay inside.

Confirmation of a terrorist attack doesn't sound like much to do about nothing. This is exactly why it was a huge mistake for the Brits to surrender their arms and why we absolutely must fight to retain our 2A -- never ever surrender that right. As it is now, there are 17 states that have red flag laws. Huge mistake. No due process.

London Bridge terror suspect named by police

The terror suspect shot dead on London Bridge has been named as 28-year-old Usman Khan, police say.
Khan was convicted in 2012 for terrorism offences and released from prison in December 2018 on licence, Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner Neil Basu has said.
Mr Basu said Khan had been living in the Staffordshire area and officers were searching the address.
He added police were "not actively seeking anyone else" over the attack.

I watched the video. It almost seems like this hero who took the knife at one point is speaking another language like what one would hear on the European continent.

Police have named the London Bridge attacker as Usman Khan, who was previously jailed for his part in a plot to bomb the city's stock exchange.
Khan, 28, was out on licence from prison when he killed two people and injured three others in the stabbing attack on Friday, before he was shot dead by armed police.
He had been living in Stafford since being released from prison on licence last December, the BBC has been told.

Priti Patel blames Labour for law that meant release of ‘dangerous terrorists’

The Home Secretary has blamed a previous Labour government after Yvette Cooper asked how the London Bridge attacker could have been released when he was deemed so dangerous.
Priti Patel took to Twitter to respond to Labour’s Ms Cooper, who had posted a series of tweets asking questions about Usman Khan’s release, and the minister also then tweeted Jeremy Corbyn about the issue.

I have long written on the inherent failures of jihad deradicalization programs. They are doomed to failure because they do not address the root cause, the motive for holy war – Islamic texts and teachings.
These counter terror and “deradicalization†programs are nothing more than charters for surrender. Of all the absurd and ludicrous responses by leftist elites to the jihad threat, “deradicalization†ranks as the most inane. How can a program claim to address the ideological motive behind acts of war without addressing the ideology? These absurd programs are based on the idea that Islam is a Religion of Peace, and that jihad terrorists are misunderstanding it. But this is false, so the programs are a failure.
The only deradicalization center in France, for example, was closed down because of the high failure rate, which was foredoomed since it was never going to deal with motive.

We have this same type of PC stupidity rampant among US parole boards. They should all be 'held accountable' for the disastrous decisions they make.

The real truth was he was released under a 2008 law passed by the Labour party that reduced inmate sentences by half. There was no parole hearing and it didn't mater if he did or didn't complete a radicalization course. That law was changed several years ago but since he was "Grandfathered" he was released after serving 8 of his 16 years.

Two terrorist plotters who were jailed along with London Bridge attacker Usman Khan in 2012 have also been freed from prison, it has emerged.
Mohammad Shahjahan and Nazam Hussain were among the nine jihadists, along with Khan, in an al-Qaeda-inspired cell which plotted to blow up the London Stock Exchange.
Shahjahan, Hussain and Khan were initially handed indefinite prison terms, but won an appeal in 2013 which changed them to fixed sentences.

Stopping the Next London Bridge Attack: How to Reduce Risks Posed by Terror Parolees

This past week a deadly stabbing attack occurred in London carried out by 28-year-old Usman Khan, a released prisoner who had been convicted in 2012 on terrorism offenses. Khan had been imprisoned on a 16-year sentence for his part in an al-Qaeda-inspired plot to blow up the London Stock Exchange and other major London sites, including the U.S. Embassy. He was automatically released last year, without his case ever being reviewed by a parole board, after serving only seven of his 16 years.
Now, one year after his release, Khan, who was required to attend a program to help rehabilitate prisoners, went on a rampage. He stabbed several people, killing two, and wounding more, while also brandishing what turned out to be a fake suicide vest. Ironically, he carried out his attack during a rehabilitation program event. That he had the vest prepared ahead of time makes it clear it was not a spontaneous outburst, or sudden loss of control, but a premeditated attack.
It appears that having served UK prison time for a terrorism conviction and being released, even conditionally with an electronic tag, as Khan was, is no guarantee of public safety. In France, a similar attack occurred in Saint-Etienne du Rouvrayin, in 2016, when two ISIS adherents forced a Catholic priest, Father Hamel, to his knees during morning prayer and slit his throat in the gruesome ISIS beheading style.

I did not know. That's kind of impressive, she's written for the Daily Caller. I think she also co-authored a book on a transgender Navy Seal, check amazon, that one, I wasn't as excited about but people aren't perfect.
