Crimes by Illegal Immigrants Widespread Across U.S.—Sanctuaries Shouldn’t Shield Them

COMMENTARY BY
Hans A. von Spakovsky

Key Takeaways

Non-citizens accounted for 24 percent of all federal drug arrests, 25 percent of all federal property arrests, and 28 percent of all federal fraud arrests.

In 2018, a quarter of all federal drug arrests took place in the five judicial districts along the U.S.-Mexico border.

Politicians who declare their jurisdictions to be sanctuaries for illegal immigrants who commit crimes are needlessly endangering their law-abiding citizens.

Once they touch our soil they have already committed a crime,

We have upwards of 30 million criminals roaming our streets at any moment.

Every official of every sanctuary city is complicit in any and all crimes those they harbor commit, and should be personally liable for damages to the victims/families of these 'wonderful additions to our society'

It's getting time to declare "sanctuary" cities, counties, even entire states to be in open rebellion of the laws of the United States.

And then act accordingly.
That means troops, arrests, removal of officials from office (regardless of position), trials, and imprisonment.

You are right, but, I don't see it happening.
