Post by: 458DS on August 23, 2018, 10:09:02 am
Allan Fung, the first Chinese American Republican (http://www.asian.gop/) mayor in Rhode Island, has thrown his hat in the race for governor 2018, currently held by a Democrat. The primary election takes place September 12.

“Allan has turned Cranston from a municipality with deep financial troubles into one of the Top 50 Cities to Live in America as recognized for the past three years by 24/7 Wall Street,” his campaign website reads. “Allan Fung (https://www.powervoter.us/allan_fung) has led the city to its highest bond rating in over two decades, increased business development by over $66 million and added over 2,800 new jobs during his tenure.”
