Title: Future of energy
Post by: Quasar44 on May 24, 2020, 12:26:47 am
It will be nuclear fusion
It’s clean and near limitless

Wind and sun are not needed

France will have a prototype up in 20 yrs
By late this century: oil and fossil fuels will all be replaced by the ultimate fuel source ..the power of the sun

People cannot stop moving after dark or on cloudy days so there is no future in electric vehicles other than commuting.
I could see hydrogen fuel tanks replacing gas someday.

H fuel is still a fantasy but in 50-70 yrs it will be a reality

Electric still needs fossil fuels to power it

I like thorium reactors.

It’s going to be H fusion !
This would solve all energy problems for good on earth
. Humans will have “ baby stars” on Earth with billions of more energy than fossil fuels

Hydrogen will never be a practical fuel. It takes more energy to make it than you get out of it.

Also, Fusion power has been "Just around the corner in 20 years" ever since I graduated engineering school in 1979....
