You have to hand it to old Joe.  By stoking the coals of hatred and racism, he's slowly uniting all Americans. :3:

Opinion | Biden to Morehouse Graduates: America Hates You
Opinion by The Editorial Board • 12h

The polls say President Biden has lost support among black Americans, and the White House appears to have settled on a strategy to win them back: spread more racial division. That’s the main message from the President’s dishonorable commencement address Sunday at storied Morehouse College in Atlanta.

Mr. Biden naturally offered the 2024 graduates a list of what he sees as his accomplishments for black Americans. He indulged in his familiar gilded personal history as a civil-rights crusader. He gave the impression that the Delaware Democratic Party was a racist operation until Sen. Joe Biden came along. At least that’s the somewhat forgivable politics of self-aggrandizement.

Less forgivable was the President’s attempt to stir resentment among the graduates on what should be a day to appreciate what they accomplished and to inspire hope for the future. Here’s what Mr. Biden said instead:
“You started college just as George Floyd was murdered and there was a reckoning on race. It’s natural to wonder if democracy you hear about actually works for you.

“What is democracy if black men are being killed in the street?

US Navy warships in the Red Sea are fighting off missiles new to combat that are 'way faster' than anything else, destroyer captain says

The US Navy isn't the only force trying to shoot Houthi missiles and drones out of the sky.
The French navy is among other allied forces working to protect commercial ships in the Red Sea.
Last week, a French frigate shot down at least three Houthi ballistic missiles.
Warships of the French navy are among other Western navies in the Red Sea working to protect commercial shipping vessels from Houthi attacks.

Last week, a French frigate shot down at least three Houthi anti-ship ballistic missiles in a combat engagement between Western forces and the Iran-backed militant group.

US Navy warships in the Middle East have been facing off against anti-ship ballistic missiles.
The Houthis introduced these missiles into combat for the first time in late 2023.
The captain of an American destroyer said they are "way faster" than anything else.

Electric Trucks Operating Expenses Are Worse Than Diesel Trucks

While electric passenger cars have been available for some time, the first all-electric Class 8 semi truck didn’t hit the roads until 2022.

Electric semi truck manufacturers, as well as truck rental companies, expected transportation companies to jump at the chance to change from diesel to battery-powered. However, that has not proven to be true. The fact is that electric semi trucks are simply far too expensive.

Pope Francis says solution to U.S.-Mexico border crisis is to "open the doors to migration"

Pope Francis told CBS in an interview airing Monday night that the solution to record numbers of undocumented immigrants arriving at the U.S.-Mexico border was "to open the doors to migration."

Why it matters: President Biden has in response this year taken a tougher stance on the border, which Axios' Stef Kight notes has become one of Democrats' most vulnerable issues in the 2024 election cycle.

The president told Univision last month his administration was exploring whether he has the authority to shut down the border without authorization from Congress and that he had plans to limit south crossings.
What they're saying: CBS' Norah O'Donnell noted during her interview with the pope that as large numbers of mothers and children fleeing violence walked "thousands of miles" to the border with their families for a better life, discussion in the U.S. was about closing the border and limiting migration.

The U.S. Army's new Gabriel drone may cause a major shift in warfare after the completion of a nighttime ammunition resupply drill in Hawaii this month, according to Special Operations Forces Report (SOFREP), a military news site.

The U.S. Army recently strengthened its tactical drone capabilities with the introduction of new systems like the Gabriel drone. The Gabriel (G1), developed by California-based Soaring, was able to deliver 2,400 rounds of 7.62-millimeter ammunition to an infantry platoon participating in a live-fire exercise drill in Hawaii. The drone dropped ammunition and food to soldiers on the island of Oahu in three flights spanning 16 minutes.

"Safe and expedient resupply capabilities are critical to mission success, especially in the dynamic environments faced by our service members," Soaring chief executive Daniel Trunfio said in a statement.
The drone, a multi-purpose vertical takeoff and landing machine, was designed for autonomous aerial resupply of ammunition during battalion-level Live Fire Exercises. According to SOFREP, the drone has demonstrated its effectiveness in various conditions, including night operations and emergency resupply missions, with its adaptability and reliability for tactical resupply in diverse environments.
