Appearing on ABCâ€™s Good Morning America on Tuesday to promote her new childrenâ€™s book, Chelsea Clinton was treated to predictable fawning coverage. However, what made the softball segment particularly galling was the tone-deaf manner in which co-host Robin Roberts teed up the former first daughter to voice support for the #MeToo movement while not bothering to mention Bill Clintonâ€™s treatment of women.

â€œMarch is Womenâ€™s History Month and we are celebrating barrier-breakers all around the globe. Former First Daughter and busy mother of two, Chelsea Clinton, is here,â€ declared Roberts, being interrupted by cheers and applause from the friendly studio audience. The anchor continued: â€œHer new book, She Persisted Around the World, features 13 incredible womenâ€™s stories. I love that, there was no applause sign, that came from the heart from the people here.â€

Actually, Monica Lewinsky is the quintessential example of a victim of the abuse of power.

Clinton was 31 years older, her boss, and the most power man on the planet. He was in the position to either intimidate her or guide her in the opposite direction. Clinton chose to use all the trappings of his political office to intimidate and manipulate.

You can't possibly believe Monica would have had a blue dress if this hick was pumping gas.

She does. I wonder how much wising up she's done? If her father is any kind of guide, she still worships The Big He. That guy is as sharp as a bowl of marbles.

She looks better now than she did when she was in the White House. That's no small feat, considering that was 20 years ago now.
