BAH HUMBUG!!

I don't believe in the 'so called' New Year.

I think it is all a myth created by the Catholic Church to convert people they considered to be 'heathens'.

I can always count on you Myst, to get the joke. I was afraid someone might take me seriously. I've been on some sites where a statement like that would result in a tsunami of insults and prayers for my soul etc. lol

I guess this place is a little more intelligent than I'm used to. hahaha

But on a more serious note; St. Patrick's Day really is a communist plot by the Jews and neo-Nazis to subvert Ireland. That one is true.

We all know that St. Patrick's Day is for the purpose of getting really drunk and harrassing young women in short plaid skirts.

Now the communist Jews have been known to party pretty hard, so I can buy that, but the neo-Nazis are a rather stuffed-shirt sort and I very much doubt they'd have any interest at all in St. Patrick's Day.   They are responsible for Mother's Day.

Are you guys going to be drinking later?

I think it is possible that I may have a wee touch of the 'water of life' later on. Can't get drunk though. I have a lot do and take care of tomorrow. I've been off since the 23rd.

It is cold, cloudy, and rainy here, so I not sure how the fireworks are going to work out.

Oh wait...tomorrow is the first. Nobody's going to be at work tomorrow. I don't have to worry about work till Wednesday. I guess I can get drunk, if I feel like it.
