Authorities are responding to reports of a mid-air collision between two aircraft at the Wings Over Dallas air show at Dallas Executive Airport, Jason Evans with Dallas Fire-Rescue (DFR) told CNN on Saturday.
According to Evans, the crash was reported around 1:30 p.m. There are currently over 40 fire rescue units on scene, DFR’s active incidents page shows.

Dallas airshow disaster caught on video as planes collide in mid-air
Two planes collided in midair at the Wings Ove Dallas Airshow at the Dallas Executive Airport on Saturday afternoon.
The accident took place during the Wings Over Dallas World War II Airshow at 1:25 p.m.
"A Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress and a Bell P-63 Kingcobra collided and crashed at the Wings Over Dallas Airshow at Dallas Executive Airport in Texas around 1:20 p.m. local time Saturday," the Federal Aviation Administration said. "At this time, it is unknown how many people were on both aircraft."

I put Air Shows up there with NASCAR events as far as risk.
Seems we sadly see this once every year or two.

Flying B-17s are as rare as hen teeth.
I'm sure there'll be some footage coming out showing what happened.

We love going to the air show close to us and seeing the Thunderbirds and the Blue Angels. I have always be in awe of the pilots' abilities and have also considered the tremendous risk that they take.

@SZonian it shows the link to the entire accident on the initial page to this thread. Midair collision....awful.
