In the beginning of the original TV series, "Mission Impossible", starring Peter Graves.....his character, Mr. Phelps, listened to a tape recorder outlining their next mission.
It always included a caveat...."if your fail or get captured, the US Government will disavow any knowledge or association with you".
IMO, that's what essentially happened in Benghazi that fateful night.
....or it could have been planned all along to have everybody at the "Consulate" slaughtered...as Dead Men tell no tales.

I've said all along that Obama regrets leaving witnesses. I wouldn't put it past him to be behind the attack. He had a lot of evidence to get rid of, and perhaps Stevens found out about it, and was ready to spill the beans.

Reportedly, stand down orders were given several times to different units within striking distance."

This enemy that Obama continues to protect while our America citizens die. Obama is the enemy within.

Nope, the two guys from the Annex were ordered to stand down but tried to rescue those at the consulte against orders. I suspect a hostage situation was planned. O planned to exchange the Ambassador for the blind sheik........
