Dilbert cartoonist Scott Adams looks thoughtful in in the lobby of a beachfront hotel on a sunny Thursday afternoon as he tells me that the phrase “jobs not mobs,†which he suggested on Twitter six days before, would be catchy — though he adds that Republicans had not yet used it.
Literally minutes later, President Donald Trump tells a rally in Montana: “Democrats produce mobs. Republicans produce jobs.†The president tweets soon afterwards: “#JobsNotMobs.â€
It is a measure of Adams’ astonishing influence on popular and political culture, as he has emerged from the world of humor, publishing, and business advice in the past three years to become one of the most insightful political commentators on the planet.
Republicans, he suggests, have a stronger message, in pointing to the “mobs†that the left have mobilized in protest around the country over the confirmation of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh and other issues. Fear is the most powerful persuasive force, he argues. That — and the sheer fun of winning bigly — could drive GOP voters to the polls.

I listen to Adams' podcast most days. He displays far more political common sense, than mainstream media.
He is a "somebody" I believe he has influence with Trump.
He is trying to do things, not just talk. Which makes him the opposite of political forums.
He tried to broker peace, between Trump and Hawk Newsome, Black Lives Mater, NYC.
He is working with Bill Pulte, grandson of Pulte Homes' founder, on cleaning up entire blockss of derelict Detroit hoods. And getting ideas and investors as well

I've heard the GOP's early voting participation so far is higher than it was in 2016. Thats a very good sign.

If the Pubs survive the "Blue Wave" they should thank the Rats. It sure isn't because the Pubs have done a lot to inspire us. It's because the Rats are so insane they can't be trusted with any power. All the Rats had to do was show they would be a reasonable voice of dissent and would work towards finding areas to compromise with the Pubs. Instead, they've shown themselves to be full throated totalitarian socialists who wish to destroy all the higher principals our govt is built on, such as innocent until proven guilty.

Longtime Hillary Clinton adviser Phillip Reines says the chances of Clinton running for president in 2020 are "not zero."
"It’s somewhere between highly unlikely and zero," Reines told Politico in an article published Friday. "But it’s not zero." ...
"It’s curious why Hillary Clinton’s name isn’t in the mix—either conversationally or in formal polling—as a 2020 candidate," Reines said. "She’s younger than Donald Trump by a year. She’s younger than Joe Biden by four years. Is it that she’s run before? This would be Bernie Sanders’ second time, and Biden’s third time. Is it lack of support? She had 65 million people vote for her."

Doesn't that say it all! She's as radical as any of them, tone deaf politically and corrupt. What a combination.
The Pubs gave the Rats everything they could hope for. The Pubs denied the POTUS almost every legislative issue he ran on. The base was so mad that there was no enthusiasm to vote. After all why go to the polls for a bunch of liars and cheats. So what do the Rats do? They make it clear that they are totalitarian socialists who don't care who they destroy.

For this to be an issue, Hillary has to live long enough to run. Although she is looking 'better' lately, that last campaign almost killed her. She really seemed to be a death's door toward the end.
There is something seriously wrong with Hillary. She has a serious medical condition of some kind. It seems to be in remission lately. But whatever it is could reemerge at any time, especially under the stress of a campaign.

Man, that's a great point! The media "egged them on" leading them to believe that they really represented the mainstream of this country. Even if they win the House it won't be with a huge majority and that's because they scared the hell out of us.

All posters are reminded of the rules of this forum (http://www.gopbriefingroom.com/index.php/topic,308154.msg1633216.html#msg1633216), including the forum owner's statement, "When someone breaks the rule this will be posted to them for 1st offense..2nd offense is 6hr timeout...2nd offense is 12hr and so on..."
This is a suggestion that from this point forward, everyone refrain from sniping at one another.

@Cripplecreek has not been banned. If he is gone, he took himself out. He can sign in and post any time he wants...he is still listed on the Members roster.
Sinkspur did not get banned for things he said, he got it because he refused to excerpt articles, despite repeated requests by the owner to excerpt. That was exposing TBR to legal ramifications.
I liked both of those two. CC was a friend who's hometown was about 20 miles from mine.

Everyone here, despite your pretensions otherwise, is open to criticism of the president...and every other politician. However, when you attack people personally by proclamations (paraphrasing) that Trump voters are essentially mindless and amoral groupie/zombies...you lose any chance of advancing your argument in a way that can influence other conservatives and Republicans.
And spare me the "I don't care" standard response...you do care, or you wouldn't post your views here. There was once a time I looked forward to your postings, but now I can almost write them for you...predictable, angry and sarcastic is no way to go through life, son.

I was not thinking of @RoosGirl with the pig comment. My only problem with her is her constant need to make sexual innuendos but I never criticize her about that. It fills some kind of need and is a harmless hobby.

Just out of curiosity, have you every played with kinetic sand? It's relatively inexpensive, you don't have to leave home and its quite therapeutic.
