I was right. Wait for the details. This 44% is only for people  making $1 million or more in taxable income.  Less than 1% of taxpayers will be affected

All of you jumping around panicking . As Bongino
always says wait 5 days for the correct details before making a fool of yourself

So how do you know that no one here falls in that 1%? Why is the federal government entitled to 44% of it? And yes, the people who tend to fall in that category employ other people because they tend to operate businesses where that "profit" is tied up in capital to operate the business. You said you are pretty wealthy, did you actually work for it or did you inherit it? Because if you worked for it you should already know all this.

Middle-Class Doesn't Care What Krugman's Inflation Charts Say
Christopher Jacobs

When covering the political persistence of “Bidenflation,” I’ve noted that economists keep wondering why opinion polls continue to show the American people are sour on an economy that continues to create jobs. Ultimately, the question in many ways comes down to one’s economic perspective and the fact that the so-called “experts” live far different lives than the people surveyed by most opinion polls.

A column earlier this year by perhaps the paragon of liberal economic opinion shows the not-so-subtle snobbery behind the failure to take families’ inflation concerns seriously. It also explains why Americans’ economic insecurities could result in a political bloodbath for the left come November.

New York Times Elitism

In late February, The New York Times’ Paul Krugman dedicated a newsletter commentary to grocery prices. Citing Bureau of Labor Statistics data, he claimed that “prices of groceries for home consumption rose 19.6 percent between January 2021 and January 2023, then another 1.2 percent over the following year. Yes, grocery prices are up a lot, but not nearly as much as some people claim, and the big surge is behind us.”

In a typically flippant manner, Krugman then went on to inveigh against “the vehemence — and sheer silliness — of the grocery truthers,” analyzing the cost of goods at Walmart versus official Bureau of Labor Statistics data. His results, in graphical form:

In the country we live in now, they’ll probably get it.

They are the "Participation Trophy" generation.  They where taught there are no consequences by the people who are now in power.  SO I fully expect the little shits to get amnesty.

Conservatives Need to Man Up and Play by the New Rules
Kurt Schlichter

Good gosh, could the conservasissies be any conservasissier? That’s a rhetorical question because the answer is obvious. Yes. Yes, they can, and they do on a regular basis. Last week, we were treated to the glorious tableau of Texas cops of all the colors of the ethnic rainbow grabbing and manhandling scumbag Hamas-lovers off the lawn at the University of Texas. This should have been a time of celebration for us normal people. This should have been a time of joy. Instead, we got these conservative weenies upset that Greg Abbott was arresting people for exercising what they (wrongly) claim is their right to free speech.

Guys, if you want to know why we lose, there you go. This is how we lose.

Let’s put aside the fact that Greg Abbott wasn’t sending these cops in to arrest those scumbags simply because they are anti-Semitic, though they are totally anti-Semitic. It wasn’t about their free speech. They were trespassing, harassing Jews, and camping out on the lawn like a bunch of Scat Francisco hobos. That’s not free speech. That’s a bunch of commies being jerks.

But what if the governor was stopping them from saying things we don’t like? What if Greg Abbott was abusing the right to free speech on a college campus, something which has never ever happened before in the history of ever, at least not since last week when the commissars sent in the local SWAT team because somebody misgendered a dude dressed like Lola Falana? If violating the right to free speech on a college campus in 2024 was against the rules, well, that’s news to me.

If only she were alive, Neilia Biden could weigh in on just how "decent" Joe is.

Protesters Remove American Flag, Raise Palestinian Flag in Harvard Yard

Joel B. Pollak 28 Apr 2024

Protesters at an anti-Israel “encampment” in Harvard Yard removed an American flag from University Hall, the central administration building, and flew a Palestinian flag in its place Saturday before university staff intervened.

The Harvard Crimson reported:

Pro-Palestine student protesters at the Harvard Yard encampment flew three Palestinian flags from University Hall on Saturday evening.

A group of three protesters hoisted the flags over the John Harvard statue in the Yard, where the University sometimes flies the American flag or flags of the countries of visiting foreign dignitaries. As of 6:34 p.m., Harvard University Police officers were calling Harvard Yard Operations to remove the flag.

As the staff removed the flags, protesters yelled “Shame!” and chanted “Free, free Palestine” and “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.”

Joe Biden is far from 'decent' despite what the media and celebrities may claim
Miranda Devine

Joe Biden is the least popular president of the past 70 years, according to a new Gallup poll.

But you wouldn’t know it if you were at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington on Saturday night. The glittering event is supposed to be a roast of the president.

Instead, it was a flattering suck-up to Biden amid jabs at Donald Trump.

“Saturday Night Live” comedian Colin Jost, best known as Scarlett Johansson’s second husband, is a Staten Island boy who reads The Post, so you’d think he’d have a clue. But he ended his performance with a gushing tribute to Biden’s “decency.”

“My grandfather, a Staten Island firefighter, voted for you, Mr. President … because you are a decent man. My grandpa voted for decency. … Decency is how we’re able to be here tonight. Decency is how we’re able to make jokes about each other and one of us doesn’t go to prison after.”

For that sycophantic slop, Jost got a standing ovation from the people who are supposed to hold the government accountable.
