Georgia Democrat Stacey Abrams appeared maskless on Friday in front of dozens of masked elementary school children in a photo that she has since deleted after it sparked widespread outrage.
In the photo, Abrams appears smiling at an elementary school “African-American Read-In” event for Black History Month at Glennwood Elementary School in Decatur, a city within Atlanta Metro’s deeply Democrat Dekalb County.
City Schools of Decatur, which Glennwood Elementary is a part of, specifies on its website that all students and employees inside Decatur school buildings must wear masks. A pamphlet on the website also specifies that cloth masks are among the “approved mask types.”
The photo of Abrams was first shared Friday by Glennwood principal Holly Brookins in a Twitter post, and then retweeted by Abrams, who was subsequently met with a massive wave of criticism for being the only individual in the photo not wearing a mask.

Sometimes, the best thing a politician can do is to put the shovel down when they are caught in a compromising position. Stacey Abrams must not be aware of that adage.
As RedState reported previously, Abrams decided it’d be a great idea to post a picture of herself maskless while surrounded by masked children. The issue with that is obvious. Children are at less risk from COVID-19 than fully vaccinated and boosted adults. Because of that, other countries long ago stopped masking young children, if they ever did, because it’s such a pointless, ineffective, and damaging practice. That makes it especially egregious when some politician ditches the mask at a school, grinning ear to ear, while all the kids are muzzled.
Abrams and her handlers, perhaps realizing how bad of a visual the picture was, quickly deleted the picture and put out a statement charging racism was behind the criticism, because what else would they charge? After that, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, a far-left newspaper, set out to try to clean up the mess. In doing so, though, they got a comment from Abrams that only dug the hole deeper.

Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams appeared on far-left CNN Tuesday, where the Democrat was allowed to lie to tens of viewers about her repeated violation of Georgia’s school mask mandate.
Last Friday, Abrams appeared at a Georgia elementary school for a political photo-op. Afterward, both she and her campaign tweeted out a photo showing Stacey “co-morbidity” Abrams seated with a bunch of grade school kids.
There was just one problem.
The kids, who have almost nothing to fear from the coronavirus, whether or not they are vaccinated, were all masked up. Abrams, who is middle-aged and obese, was not.

She will try to cover by saying we are racist, or anti-women, or anti-fat people, or anti-dental-challenged people.
So let's go ahead and say it as it really makes no difference one way or the other on what we are called.
Remember, Alinsky's rules have been used by the left quite successful for decades against conservative. We need to adopt similar strategy.
