Oh, Geez. Thanks once again. 1.5 million gallons of lethally contaminated waste to go with the radioactives from Russia and GWB's blythe suggestion for a US missile shield that can take out incoming from 3000 miles away.

Scuse me? Have you guys ever measured the Atlantic?

We get rain, bad weather and more rain. We even get rains of fish and frogs. Some places get squid. But rains of shrapnel  at terminal velocity are a bit beyond the pale.

what does it mean to "decommission" a chemical?  Will it be mustered out with honors?  A medal?  What?

Well -

When ships are decommisioned they are cut up for scrap.
Aircraft get parked in the desert and slowly looted.
Vehicles are sold to the highest bidder or crushed.
Officers get a dishonorable discharge.
Soldiers are left to die by the VA.

Medals are not likely to be involved in this case.  :tongue2:
