Dear President Hanlon,
On October 23, I spoke at your college. I was invited by members of College Republicans and Students Supporting Israel. They probably wanted to hear what I had to say because I am one of the most prominent conservative intellectuals in America, having published over twenty books, three of which were New York Times best-sellers and one of which was nominated for a National Book Award. The feminist Camille Paglia has said of me: “I respect the astute and rigorously unsentimental David Horowitz as one of America's most original and courageous political analysts…. As a scholar who regularly surveys archival material, I think that, a century from now, cultural historians will find David Horowitz's spiritual and political odyssey paradigmatic for our time.â€

This is a perfect illustration of why one of my main pet peeves is censorship and those that seek to censor others' ideas, opinions and viewpoints. And I have witnessed such censorship by members right here on this forum... just because they disagreed with the ideas and opinions of others here.
This is happening everywhere in America right now. People need to wake the hell up to this threat to our nation....
encroaching fascism and leftist mentality. And yeah, it's still leftist mentality if/when folks supposedly on the right do it, too.

Leftist totalitarianism is not only happening its accelerating. I'm coming to the conclusion that the wheels have already come off its just most of us don't recognize it yet.
And no, there is no equivalent on the right. To claim there is only provides cover for what is actually taking place.

It’s actually worse than that. They’re not only advancing their totalitarianism, THEY are the ones in the street actively defending it...all while we sit secure in the “sure†knowledge that they won’t stand a chance when the coming conflict actually arrives here because “we have all the gunsâ€.
Meanwhile, they’re organizing, buying guns (look it up), training with them and actually putting their asses on the streets. We diminish them at our peril.

Our side may not be protesting publicly "in the streets"... but make no mistake. Our side IS indeed preparing and organizing.

If they ever get what they want, they are going to be incredibly surprised to find that their usefulness is over, and they have become disposable. Leftist totalitarianism is the least tolerant and most brutal governmental system.
But in the big picture 'Leftism' is not really the goal. The goal is the destruction of the United States as a sovereign nation. If they really wanted Leftism, there are plenty of countries they could move to and live under a communist or socialist regime. But they will never do that. They are not interested in moving to a real socialist country.
Their goal is solely, specifically, and only to tear down our country and to make America part of the globalist NWO. They are not going to like that at all if they achieve it. America will become a completely different place. And frequently the very people who fight for socialism are the very first ones who are 'disappeared' when they get it. Look at Russia, Germany, or Cuba as a direct example of that. The professors, teachers, and writers were the first ones to be rounded up. I know they always say, "This time it will be different." No! It will not be different. This scenario has been played out in history all over the world. And it always, always, always, ends up exactly the same way. Poor peasants living in poverty and squalor, and a super rich aristocracy ruling over them.
I guess the term, 'We won't get fooled again!' is forgotten these days, as is the term, 'Never Again!'

I have no doubt. It's a mistake to believe they won't be dangerous - I see all types all the time at gun ranges in my area.
