Yet one more to boycott!!!  Things don't go better with Coca-Cola!

Coca-Cola funds LGBTQ youth event at Smithsonian showcasing ‘Indigiqueer’ fashion

The Coca-Cola Foundation is funding an LGBTQ youth event at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian featuring "Indigiqueer" fashion designers.

The online event this Thursday hosted by the Washington, D.C., museum, titled, "Youth in Action: Wearing Our PRIDE," will feature the co-founders of the fashion brand Indi City and other Native fashion designers.

"Fashion is often used to confirm identities, challenge social structures, and display personalities. Discover the joy of fashion in our conversation celebrating PRIDE month," the event description on the Smithsonian website reads.

"Program generously supported by The Coca-Cola Foundation," it added.

The Coca-Cola company is huge! I would love to see a successful boycott - but they have quite a few products that aren't noticeably labeled with the obvious Coca-Cola brand label.

AND something else that won't grace my pantry shelves.

Not that I have been buying since I act 'too white'...

Target, Bud Light, Kohl's, Chik-fil-A, Dodgers, Coca-Cola -- who's next?? This is becoming quite disheartening and disgusting.

Why cater to such a small portion of their business?  ESG scores??  Other than in the grand scheme of things, companies keep it up and we'll have nowhere or no one to purchase goods from. But there sales will still plummet in the meantime.

I'm still boycotting their crappy soda since they demanded I Be Less White.

There might be a lag here and there, but the great thing about Capitalism is that there WILL be someone to take their place.

Quote
"Indigiqueer"
I dislike made-up words almost as much as I dislike invented "genders."

This list doesn't quite cover all of their products; they also bottle Aha sparkling water and distribute some Campbell soup products.

Trying to boycott them is going to be difficult because of the amount of products.

A popular socialist quote is that "there is no ethical consumption under capitalism."

BOTH Cherry Coke and Dr. Pepper... Southern gals will curl up and die...
As for me, Barq's is the only thing on that list that I use, and that infrequently... It IS the best root beer around, without going to boutique bottlers... But I can easily go to A&W or Shasta, or stick with Snapple Peach tea, which is my regular if I am out and about.

Well, if corporate America keeps this crap up, I am going to save a lot of money...

And be healthier, too. I drink little soda pop, but should give it up completely.

Since I have pretty well limited my beverages to water, coffee, an occasional beer or margarita I am saddened to say ther is nothing on that list that I could stop buying to boycott them.
