Investigation: Biden Executive Order Focuses on Registering Convicts to Vote

John Binder 2 May 2024

An executive order signed by President Joe Biden has focused on registering convicts to vote and exclusively involved left-wing non-governmental organizations (NGOs), an investigation from the Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project revealed.

In March 2021, Biden signed an executive order titled “Promoting Access to Voting,” which he billed as a “nonpartisan” government-wide effort to “expand citizens’ opportunities to register to vote and to obtain information about, and participate in, the electoral process.”

Two months after the order was signed, the Biden administration held a “Listening Session” with several NGOs — all of which identified with the Democrat party or left-wing policy initiatives, according to an analysis from the Oversight Project.

The NGOs involved in the Listening Session were:

Documents via the Oversight Project

Likewise, the Oversight Project obtained unredacted notes from the Listening Session which revealed a heavy focus on registering convicts to vote.

In one particular note, an official with the Sentencing Project mentioned the importance of having the Bureau of Prisons notify “newly eligible voters of their right to vote.” That official also suggested that “felony disenfranchisement is voter suppression.”

Noem uses her goat and dog killing rampage as an example of how she’s willing to make the tough decisions in politics

Many politicians have made tough decisions without killing their pets and livestock in a fit of rage

No, they generally don't.

Did her editor never hear of the words "difficult decision",  "no choice but to euthanize the dog"?  And I would like to know who thought shooting a "PUPPY"  in the face had a reassuring feel to it.  Everyone involved in this is an idiot.

It's not a puppy. It is at least to be considered an adolescent dog....In every case another mere 6 months and it would be 'full grown'. When passing judgement on a chicken murdering hand-biter, being tried as an adult is not remarkable.

And his character is well defied by that point - You know what that dog is by the time he's a year old, with the exception of a bitch pup who has never passed a litter. The mothering instinct and the protections that come with it often come late.

But as a rule, a dog is what he is going to be (character-wise) at a year.

And there is nothing wrong with shooting a dog 'in the face', if the dog requires shooting. In fact, it would be a mercy.

I'll say it again, Noem's problem is not the story, but how she chose to tell it in a mass-marketed political book --- and begs the question:  Who allowed her to tell this story while channeling Paulie "Walnuts" Gaultieri?

Did her editor never hear of the words "difficult decision",  "no choice but to euthanize the dog"?  And I would like to know who thought shooting a "PUPPY"  in the face had a reassuring feel to it.  Everyone involved in this is an idiot.

Pro-tip to the editor(s):  Don't tempt fate ----- stay as far away from that gravel pit as humanly possible, or risk being part of the sequel.

I totally agree with you, RIV. Noem was stupid for telling the story the way she did.

And by the way, we would have done the same thing with dog that kills livestock and bites his/her master.

How about you learn that shutting down the Government doesn't accomplish anything.
It remains to be seen.

Caving in to the other side accomplishes a lot, just not what we might want.

In that case, gridlock is fine by me.

The insanity is only accelerating it seems.

The evil is out in the open and many of those in power are embracing it.

It is surreal.

They’re emboldened because a major political party has their back

Did any Democrat politician condemn the “Summer of Love?”

They defended Trump's liberal history from assault weapons bans to socialized medicine. It didn't matter to them.

We are told that Trump will take on the left and the Democrats. The fact that a far left Democrat is on his list for potential VP puts that myth to rest.

When Trump is done with politics, win or lose, it’s not the people that attend his rallies that he will associate with. Those rally attendees are the people he supported the Kelo decision over.

As another poster once said, given the choice between standing up to Democrats but getting nothing done vs going alone with them in order to claim”successes” I absolutely believe he will choose the latter.

We’ve seen it already
