Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood said that the 3,000-person illegal gathering was "an absolute s--t show."

DeLand, FL – Attendees at a massive gathering held in violation of coronavirus lockdown restrictions claimed that the law enforcement officers they attacked with bottles and a bar stool had targeted the partygoers because they were black (video below).

One attendee at the 3,000-person gathering was shot in the foot by another partygoer during the mayhem, and a suspect also pointed rifle at police at one point, 9News reported.

How many of these police articles I just posted made the national news?  None I am aware of, but the police in Minneapolis sure got a lot of press. :pondering:

*****rollingeyes***** Try Googling or Binging or DDGing "Volusia County illegal gathering". You'd find this incident got significant local and national coverage. Same proportion, no, but very far from "none". *****rollingeyes*****

ETA: Since you asked I checked out two other threads you started, and in both cases my first search attempts found that the incidents had gotten significant local and national news coverage. Maybe you should try your search-engine-of-choice before making media-cover-up claims, @rangerrebew.

ETA: A third thread/incident, the one in the remote Alaskan village, got covered by at least one local TV station, and there was an article in the SF Chronicle.
