Sarah Palin is slamming the media for its “ridiculous overkill” coverage of New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s news conference on Friday.

“Talk about ridiculous overkill. This Chris Christy [sic] press conference is the epitome of local politics, but you’re taking this live and covering City Hall like it’s Armageddon,” Palin wrote in a post published to her Facebook page.

Friday’s news conference was Christie’s first since January, when he addressed “Bridgegate” at length for the record. All three major cable news outlets picked up the hourlong conference on Friday afternoon for various lengths of time.

“Good Lord, media — distract much? The Middle East isn’t a tinderbox today? Our economy isn’t in the tank today? Scandalous liberal politicians aren’t getting busted in rapid succession today?” the former GOP vice presidential nominee wrote.

Here is what I find odd. The diehard, Sarah Palin ONLY supporters hate everyone even slightly to the left of Palin. (Which is everybody)

When Sarah Palin herself is more open to let's say, Chris Christie winning. Sarah Palin herself thinks more political than her diehard, Sarah or nobody supporters. Palin goes for who can win and Palin is not afraid to point out the medias attack on Christie is because he was beating Hillary in polls. Her supporters could care less about anything but THEIR candidate winning, even if they are not running.

It is odd. No disrespect for Palin. She is more politically savvy and is more open to moderates, like Reagan, than her supporters.
