EXCLUSIVE: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi visited a San Francisco hair salon on Monday afternoon for a wash and blow-out, despite local ordinances keeping salons closed amid the coronavirus pandemic, Fox News had learned.
In security footage obtained by Fox News, and timestamped Monday at 3:08 p.m. Pacific Time, the California powerhouse is seen walking through eSalon in San Francisco with wet hair, and without a mask over her mouth or nose.
The stylist doing her hair can be seen following her wearing a black face mask.
Salons in San Francisco had been closed since March and were only notified they could reopen on Sept. 1 for outdoor hairstyling services only.

This business offered for the Speaker to come in on Monday and told her they were allowed by the city to have one customer at a time in the business. The Speaker complied with the rules as presented to her by this establishment," said Drew Hammill, deputy chief of staff for Pelosi.
On Tuesday afternoon, eSalon appeared to be closed. KTVU has not yet reached the salon owner.

This, is Politico! The salon is a public place. No customer has a legal or reasonable expectation of privacy when in an area accessible to whoever walks in. That's why security cameras, on which she was recorded, are legal and why Pelosi being recorded was entirely legal.

It is a perfect example of how the media bottom feeders always change the narrative, though. For subject X, the story is their entitlement and hypocrisy. For subject Y, are they a victim and were they deprived of their privacy.
BTW not only are indoor services and no mask no bueno, but blowdryers specifically banned are as well. Madame speaker scored a hat trick.

I get my hair cut in Pennsylvania, and am required to wear a mask throughout the shampooing, cut, drying, etc. The state sends spies into salons and if they catch anyone without a mask, they threaten to take the stylists license.

2. The hair dresser who did Pelosi's hair is not the salon owner nor an employee of the salon owner. The hairdresser rents space from the salon.
3. Indoor professional hair cutting and care has been against Goobernor Nuisance's and the regional shutdown since mid March. Pelosi cannot truthfully or credibly claim she did not know she was violating the shutdown.
4. Businesses have had security cameras monitoring their premises 24x7x52 for decades. Pelosi cannot truthfully or credibly claim she did not know she was recorded by one or more cameras.

No, you evidently have not seen her lately. Not many weeks ago, after the House was not in session, I saw her on TV and there was not one wrinkle on her face. If you didn't hear the announcer say "Pelosi", you would not know who that was. She was lovely and looked like a person I had never seen. I was so stunned, I called Bob to come look at this person and I asked him who that was. He did not know it was her.

I did research on this and it was one of Pelosi's people who made the appointment for her and it was the hair dresser who rents a chair at that beauty shop, who said she would do it as one person could be there at a time.
The point is, it was the hair dresser who made the appointment. The hair dresser could have told her no one is allowed in the salon and it would have ended there.

That's a distinction without a difference. The salon owner did not call Pelosi or her peeps. And Pelosi's staff member did not speak with the salon owner. Therefore Pelosi lied in claiming she was set up, and Pelosi knew she was lying.

I'm not a shop owner, but if I was I would contact all the other businesses in the area and agree to open on Monday. It's time to stop this tyranny. A few phone calls and their customers would come out and stand with them. I know I would.

Sounds like the salon made a confirmation call, a typical front desk chore. The appointment was made by the customer, the stylist calls the day of to make sure the client will keep the appointment. Pelosi made the appointment.
