This is just another version of the "big bad nasty capitalist west, (especially the U.S.) made the dictator of the sh*thole third world country massacre and starve his people" theory perpetually purported by lefties.
I heard it a lot about awful S. American countries who were only poor and oppressed because the evil gringoes made them that way.
It's still a lefty belief that Cuba is poor only because of the evil embargo enacted by the nasty Yanquis. This despite the fact that Cuba was free to trade with every other country in the world.
Cuba, like every other impoverished small socialist country, is poor because it has had a Marxist economy for almost sixty years.

Stein/Obama/Warren/MSM they all believe that America, in particular White people in America, are responsible for everything that is wrong with the world. Of course, they cannot comprehend how elitist, racist, and arrogant, this attitude is.
By claiming that White America is responsible for all that is wrong with South America, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, they are essentially wiping away the ability for any Brown/Black or Asian person to make decisions for themselves. This claim nullifies the ability of people who are not White to claim any responsibility for what they choose to do.
Elitist Liberals believe that non White people are not capable of acting without White guidance, nor are they capable of taking responsibility for what they do. After all, they are simple, inferior, people. So ultimately, it must be the fault of White people for not taking proper care of them. Right?

Right. In part, it is the 21st century version of "noblesse oblige", a way for wealthy white people to condescend to those they consider as their social inferiors, by drowning their unearned guilt in an ocean of self-loathing.
But in another sense, it is the expression of an intense and pathological hatred toward Western values and culture; a hatred of the self and an embrace of the Other, no matter how evil and insane the "Other" might be.

That is true. I have heard the term 'embrace of the other' in explaining why teenagers and early twenties will frequently vehemently condemn anything Jewish or Christian and yet they embrace the more enlightened paths of Buddhism, or Hare Krishna, or any number of things, which are still 'religions' of a sort. Why love this, and hate that? Because familiarity breeds contempt. "The other", such as Islam, always has a mystique that what they know cannot have.
But with Liberals, I think some of it is about hubris and arrogance. When the Muslim student says Praise Allah on the podium, not only is he 'sticking it' to the Christians, which Liberals appreciate, but Liberals also have this racist, superior, attitude with all minorities which causes them to think, "Oh isn't that cute. He believes in an invisible God, oh how adorable".
I mean to say that when Liberals see Muslims praying, or Black people in Church, or Mexicans lighting a candle, to them it is like observing wildlife in its natural habitats. And again, they think it is "cute" to watch them. However, because Liberals are inherently hardcore racists at heart, they do not apply this same standard to White people who do not get a pass, because according to Liberals, White people should know better.

We did not demonize North Korea. They brought this on themselves when they invaded South Korea in the summer of 1950. Since the armistice was signed, they repeatedly violated it with aggression and acts of war that should have resulted in their destruction.

Leftists love to blame western countries, especially the U.S., for "stealing" poor countries' natural resources and leaving them destitute. Or with some paid-off stooge in charge.
They'll have to explain how many western countries with little or no natural resources, like a number of western European countries, are rich.
The answer, of course, is the biggest natural resource any country can have is its own people. Without the right people, the best plans fall by the wayside.
The world's poor countries are poor because either they have too many uneducated people, they're run by Marxists, or both.

Leftists actually think this way. I had a fellow tell me a couple years ago he thought Iran and NORK should be allowed to have whatever arms they want, and they should have arms equal to our military. I asked him if that's a little contradictory with his belief US citizens should not have arms capable of defending against the same people he wants Iran and NORK to fight.
