Probably just a "Florida Man" story once the facts are discovered and the media hysteria and hype dies down when no Trump connection is found.

Florida Man engages in road rage.

Well, if the media is already calling it road rage, the story is already dying, if not dead. I will be surprised if it makes the evening news.
I just don't get road rage. Yes, I know many other drivers are stupid, but is it really worth one's life to fight over, say, a cutoff or a parking space?

@The Ghost
I agree. If Trump had been anywhere around there it would have been all over the teebee news.

@mountaineer
Probably just a dispute over a trade deal by some of the local street businessmen. Happens all the time.

I'm not one for road rage, but I do take offense when some idiot comes close to causing harm to me or mine with a two ton weapon by being too busy texting or too messed up to pay attention to what lane they are in.

Of course, you would be angry. But is it worth it to start shooting the other guy? What if he shoots you?
I say, let it go. I subscribe to the belief that one way or the other, the ignoramus will pay for what he's done -- if not in this life, then in the next.

I do, if I can. I really don't care about parking spaces or mere acts of inconsiderate people. But I don't want to enter the next life because some idiot isn't paying attention, deeming what is going on on their phone to be more important than the trajectory of the two tons of metal they are supposed to be operating. That doesn't mean I go shooting people or seeking confrontation, but I'll report them in a New York second. In the meantime, my focus is on the health of the people with me and keeping my vehicle intact (avoiding, if possible, a wreck--I do not consider vehicle damage or injury resulting from gross negligence or seriously bad driving to be an "accident".)
Note, too, that the media reports this incident at the Trump Resort when it actually occurred at the Rental Car place across the street. THat's about in keeping with their policy of reporting any shooting within a half mile of a school as a school shooting.
