French president says Paris safe for 2024 Olympics

French President Francois Hollande said Sunday that Paris, a target of devastating terrorism, would guarantee the security of athletes if it hosted the 2024 Olympics.
"We can guarantee the security of the athletes, it is our major priority and a prior condition we must offer to athletes from all over the world, " said Hollande in a speech at a reception for visiting International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach.
France has been repeatedly targeted by Islamic extremists in the last two years, with Paris witnessing the bloody assault on the Charlie Hebdo satirical magazine in January 2015 followed by a rampage by gunmen in the city in November.

Thinking that intentions equals results is such a quintessentially leftist way of thinking.
The Olympics have become so overblown that it is becoming a huge financial burden for any city that wants to host them. Most of the major cities of the First World are too smart to do it, so you get either cities that can't handle it, or cities whose image is hurting like Paris. The problem is that Paris' image is hurting for some very particular reasons that aren't going to go away no matter how much Hollande wishes they might.

Not just Isamoterroists, keep in mind that all of the people France, Italy, Germany, Sweden, America, are 'taking in', are all people who were rejected by Islamist governments worldwide. These are all the worst of the worst.
Criminals, insane asylums, prisons emptied, all sent to the West to take care of. Only stupid White Christian people are dumb enough to accept and coddle them ... while the rest of the world laughs at how naïve they are.

Israel would do well to send a significant force of IDF personnel if they send a team and make that a condition of participation. The Frogistanis cannot be trusted to protect Israeli athletes, and various Arab-Pali and Iranian-backed terrorist groups would fall over each other trying to do a Munich 2.0.
