Austin paper refuses to run black shooting suspect description: It ‘could be harmful in perpetuating stereotypes’
June 13, 2021 | Vivek Saxena
A liberal newspaper out of Texas is refusing to provide a description of a mass shooting suspect for reasons that appear to be rooted in critical race theory.
Around 1:24 am early Saturday morning, two suspects opened fire in downtown Austin “as partygoers crowded the sidewalks and bars,” wounding 14 people, two of them critically, according to local news station KXAN.
During a press conference later that afternoon, Austin authorities confirmed they’d arrested a suspect but were still searching for another one “described as a black man with a thin frame and locs-style hair,” as reported by KXAN.

Had the shooters been white males with AR15-type rifles, MAGA hats, wearing camou, and insert Prog stereotype here, the full description would have been in the first or second paragraph.
Evidently the Austin Statesman is more worried about nebulous stereotypes than catching the shooters.
Evidently the Austin Statesman is ignorant of the fact that withholding descriptive information is widely regarded as evidence a shooter/attacker/etc. is black or of some other PC group.

They meant it could be harmful in perpetuating stereotypes different from the stereotypes they want to perpetuate.

Darn white supremacy.

The newspaper which I used to throw growing up in Austin is nothing but something to use to wipe shit off your ass now.

I grew up with the Baltimore Sun....same thing.
And time you read that an assault or other crime was committed by "teens"...they're black. Bet on it.
