The media are celebrating Hillary Clinton's response to a heckler at an event in Buffalo, NY. The man shouted at her about the Benghazi scandal: "You let them die!" In response, Clinton said that Americans had to work together for a future--and that future "doesn't include yelling." The audience erupted in applause.

But it was Hillary Clinton herself who started the yelling over Benghazi at a Senate hearing in January, when she famously shouted at Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI): "What difference, at this point, does it make?" The media loved it, while conservatives were appalled. Beyond the substance, however, was the fact that she had yelled.

Not only was her response rude, but it displayed a contempt for the oversight role that Congress is meant to exercise over the functions of the executive branch. Her tone added insult to injury. If the future "doesn't include yelling," then Clinton's political future may depend on cooperating with Congress, not shouting it down.

It doesn't matter if Hellary yells or doesn't yell, cooperates or doesn't cooperate w/ Congress; she will be 'applauded' no matter what she does.

It is quite obvious that Hellary is being anointed to be your next unimpeachable president starting in 2017...

One more time: The rules, standards, laws and programs are for the little people, not the overlords. The wealth, riches, perks and benefits are for the overlords, not the little people. Can't people get that through their heads so we can move on?

What difference does it make, Sec. Clinton?

One of your options was the result of stupidity and easily riled up crowds.

Your other option was the result of enemy action.

Both showed incompetance in your own department.

Both showed the people the administration wish to get cozy with are never to be trusted.

Both showed that you should not be allowed to eat soup without a helmet, water wings and a full contingent of life guards.

So you are quite correct - what difference did it make?

Why don't you ask  Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty, Tyrone S. Woods

No matter how hard you listen, they won't tell you.

Sean was someone I knew vaguely. When not working at his job he was a Something Awful moderator. Playful sense of humor and he temp banned me at least three times in the year before he died. It was deserved. The same forum where his last (uncensored) message was sent to.
