The Harvard Crimson reported:

Pro-Palestine student protesters at the Harvard Yard encampment flew three Palestinian flags from University Hall on Saturday evening.

A group of three protesters hoisted the flags over the John Harvard statue in the Yard, where the University sometimes flies the American flag or flags of the countries of visiting foreign dignitaries. As of 6:34 p.m., Harvard University Police officers were calling Harvard Yard Operations to remove the flag.

As the staff removed the flags, protesters yelled “Shame!” and chanted “Free, free Palestine” and “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.”

Joe Biden is far from 'decent' despite what the media and celebrities may claim
Miranda Devine

Joe Biden is the least popular president of the past 70 years, according to a new Gallup poll.

But you wouldn’t know it if you were at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington on Saturday night. The glittering event is supposed to be a roast of the president.

Instead, it was a flattering suck-up to Biden amid jabs at Donald Trump.

“Saturday Night Live” comedian Colin Jost, best known as Scarlett Johansson’s second husband, is a Staten Island boy who reads The Post, so you’d think he’d have a clue. But he ended his performance with a gushing tribute to Biden’s “decency.”

“My grandfather, a Staten Island firefighter, voted for you, Mr. President … because you are a decent man. My grandpa voted for decency. … Decency is how we’re able to be here tonight. Decency is how we’re able to make jokes about each other and one of us doesn’t go to prison after.”

For that sycophantic slop, Jost got a standing ovation from the people who are supposed to hold the government accountable.

The West's pathetic appeasement of Islamist extremists: For 33 years, my friend Salman Rushdie has shown incredible bravery. But the denial and delusion of Western apologists has only allowed fundamentalism to flourish, writes AYAAN HIRSI ALI
By Ayaan Hirsi Ali For The Daily Mail
 Published: 12:24 EDT, 26 April 2024 | Updated: 12:27 EDT, 26 April 2024
Quote
The centrepiece of Salman Rushdie’s new memoir is a vivid but harrowing account of the recent savage knife attack that almost ended his life.

In painful detail, he writes how he was stabbed multiple times during an event in New York State in 2022, slumping to the floor of the stage as the frenzy of blows continued before, finally, some brave members of the audience overpowered his assailant.

Against the odds, Rushdie recovered from the assault. Although he lost his sight in one eye and the partial use of one hand, his gifts as a writer have been undiminished. ...

As Winston Churchill — who had a shrewd understanding of Islam from his Victorian days as a soldier in India and Sudan, once wrote – an ‘appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile, hoping it will eat him last’.

Sadly, the valour of Churchill and Rushdie has been absent all too often in the West. Denial and delusion have been our watchwords. Capitulation has been dressed up as ‘social inclusion’.

The pathetic impulse to appease has allowed Muslim extremism to flourish in our midst, reflected in the long catalogue of terror incidents, the surge in anti-Semitism across Western Europe, the development of separate communities complete with strict dress code and informal sharia tribunals, the dominance of hardline preachers in mosques, the networks of madrassa schools that promote a quasi-medieval interpretation of Islam, the tacit acceptance by officialdom of arranged marriages and polygamy, and the introduction of de facto blasphemy laws in the name of tackling ‘hate speech’.  ...

While hundreds of thousands of brave women in Iran protest against the Islamic head-covering, in Labour-run Sandwell in the West Midlands a huge, brutalist sculpture has gone up of a Muslim woman in traditional dress. ‘The strength of the hijab’ is the title of this piece of theocratic propaganda which should have no place in Britain.

Rushdie himself said recently: ‘We live in a moment, I think, at which freedom of expression and freedom to publish has not in my lifetime been under such threat in the countries of the West.’

He is right. It is a profoundly depressing thought that no mainstream publisher would touch The Satanic Verses today.

Israel is concerned ICC could issue arrest warrants against Netanyahu, senior officials: report
Netanyahu has vowed that the ‘ICC will not affect Israel’s actions’
 By Greg Norman Fox News
Published April 29, 2024 7:03am EDT

Israeli officials are growing concerned that the International Criminal Court could soon issue arrest warrants against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other top officials over charges related to the war in Gaza, reports say.

The court may accuse the senior government figures of pursuing an excessively harsh military response to Hamas’ Oct. 7 attacks on Israel and preventing the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, the New York Times is reporting, citing Israeli and foreign officials.

The newspaper reports that any warrants issued by the ICC would "probably be seen in much of the world as a humbling moral rebuke" and cited an official as saying that the possibility of them has factored into Israeli decision-making in recent weeks.

Such warrants could pose travel obstacles for the Israeli officials and they may be issued against Hamas leaders as well, according to the New York Times.

White House silent if anti-Israel protesters will be barred from student loan forgiveness programs
President Biden, in part, campaigned on student debt relief in 2020
By Emma Colton Fox News
Published April 29, 2024 6:00am EDT
The Biden administration is silent on whether students carrying out anti-Israel protests spiraling on college campuses nationwide will be barred from student loan forgiveness programs that have canceled billions of dollars in debt under the 46th president.

"We say justice, you say how. Burn Tel Aviv to the ground," protesters have chanted on Columbia University’s campus in recent days. "Hamas we love you. We support your rockets, too," other chants have included.

Colleges from coast to coast, including some of the nation’s most elite schools - including Harvard, Yale, Penn, Berkeley and others - have seen dayslong protests on campuses, where students demand their schools completely divest from Israel as the death toll in Gaza increases.

The protests come following terrorist organization Hamas launching war in Israel on Oct. 7, which initially fanned the flames of antisemitism on campuses in the form of protests, menacing graffiti and students reporting that they felt as if it was "open season for Jews on our campuses." The protests have now heightened to the point where Jewish students are warned to leave campus for their own safety.

Fox News Digital reached out to the White House on Sunday asking if the administration plans to bar student protesters from eligibility for student loan forgiveness programs but did not receive a response. Biden, in part, campaigned in 2020 on forgiving student loan debt, including pledging to cancel at least $10,000 per borrower back in 2020.
