Every year, we set aside the first Friday of June to honor the queen of all desserts, the doughnut. Just like in previous years, tomorrow many of us will be celebrating with freebies from doughnut chains like Krispy Kreme and Dunkin' Donuts, but this year also brings a totally new and rather unexpected way to observe the holiday. Oreo is introducing a limited edition Jelly Donut flavored cookie and it will be on sale starting this weekend.
The doughnut-inspired treat, which will be exclusively available at Walmart, features Golden Oreo cookies. Sandwiched between them is a custard filling with a raspberry jelly center, so it tastes just like the real thing. With a couple packages of these special Oreos, anyone can pay homage to the doughnut from the comfort of their couches all weekend long.

Oreo has confirmed that Waffles & Syrup Oreos are real, and that they're coming soon. A company spokesman told Delish that the flavor will be available the week of May 8, exclusively at Albertson's for $4.49. We will update this post once we can get our hands on some and see if the inevitable flavor frenzy is worth it.

This was fun to read.

Are the doughnut Oreos Mexican Oreos or USA Oreos? West coast Nabisco "Honey Maid" grahams are "Made in Mexico". Am still looking for an alternative graham cracker...Wal-Mart's house brand isn't very good.

Oreo just came out with a 4th of July cookie.
I kid you not. The filling is white. With blue and red sprinkles.
I saw it yesterday at my local Stop and Shop.

They are made with pop-rocks candy, so they explode in your mouth. LOL

I wish I could do a poll here for this thread.
How many eat an Oreo by twisting it apart and eating the filling first?
(Me!)
Or do you eat it like a sandwich?
-
Eat it like a sandwich - but I do dip them in my tea.

I twist them apart more often than eating them whole.

GOOD GOD, MAN! :nono: *****rollingeyes*****
It's milk. Ice-cold milk... You must hold it submerged entirely until your fingers lose feeling, and all bubbles cease to rise from the cookie's interior... wherein the very last feeling left is that of the cookie material turning to mush from under your grip... At that precise moment - not another moment more, or you will be unsuccessful - One must slowly and evenly, retaining your perilous grasp upon the disintegrating material, draw the cookie free of the milk and as quickly as possible (to avoid milk dripping on your shirt), deposit it whole into the intended orifice.
It's the WHOLE point of an Oreo's existence.

That was how I ate their Obama edition cookie.

I don't do any of that hippy crap. I'm strictly missionary position only. I don't dip in anything. I don't pull them apart. I eat them exactly as God intended. One at a time and intact.
If God wanted you to dip them, or disassemble them, he would have made them that way. Godless Communists, all of you.
