Dror Or, 49, was killed in Kibbutz Be’eri during the Oct. 7 Hamas attack and his body was brought to Gaza, the Israeli government said Thursday.

I agree with both @PeteS in CA and @Cyber Liberty .  The GP is incredibly sloppy and sensationalistic in its reporting, but I also think they've likely been hit with some suits purely for harassment purposes.

Of course, the same thing is applicable to them that is applicable to Trump -- if you make it too easy for your enemies to come after you, you share in the blame for your fate.

Iranian college offers free tuition to U.S. students booted amid anti-Israel riots

By Staff - The Washington Times - Thursday, May 2, 2024

Shiraz University in Iran has announced a scholarship program offering free tuition to American students expelled as a result of their pro-Palestinian protests.

The announcement was made by the university’s head on Iranian state-owned Press TV.

“Students and even professors who have been expelled or threatened with expulsion can continue their studies at Shiraz University, and I think that other universities in Shiraz, as well as Fars province, are also prepared,” Mohammad Moazzeni told Iranian state-owned Press TV.

The declaration comes in the wake of the New York Police Department’s arrest of over 280 protesters at Columbia University and City University of New York because of campus-wrecking demonstrations against Israel.

The arrests have been linked by New York Mayor Eric Adams to “outside agitators” radicalizing students.

Shiraz University emphasizes a shared stance with those marching and yelling against Israel.

Meanwhile, a professor at the University of Tehran said Iran is happy to see the protests. “These [American students] are our people,” Foad Izadi said, according to Middle East Media Research Institute TV.

Joe Biden Crashes Dr. Jill’s White House Dinner Party For Teachers, Takes Microphone, Lies About Being a Professor at UPenn (VIDEO)
by Cristina Laila May. 2, 2024 9:20 pm

Joe Biden Thursday evening crashed Dr. Jill’s White House dinner party honoring teachers.

“Tonight we celebrate you because teaching isn’t just a job, it’s a calling. And all of you were called to this profession for a reason,” Dr. Jill said. “You believe that a better world is possible and you make that world real.”

After returning from North Carolina, Biden shuffled into the East Room of the White House in a surprise appearance, took the microphone, and lied about being a professor at the University of Pennsylvania.

“By the way, I actually taught for a number of years in law school and then I was a professor at the University of Pennsylvania,” Biden said.

This is one of Biden’s favorite lies (he has many).

Jill Biden nodded in agreement as Joe Biden lied about being a professor.

Of course, none of this ever happened.

Joe Biden is a legend in his own mind.

Joe Biden was paid $1 million by UPenn but he never taught a single class.

Joe Biden is a corrupt politician and a pathological liar.

Biden was never a “professor” or teacher after serving as Vice President in 2017.

Biden was paid $1 million to do nothing, as the Daily Caller noted:

In most respects, yes.  Apparently, the people who are objecting to certain specific language either 1) have difficulty with reading comprehension, or 2) are actually anti-semitic themselves.

Have you a link to the bill you read and the objections?  If so, would you be a dear and post both @Maj. Bill Martin ?  This info should make an interesting read.  Thanks.

Trump's Hope Hicks called to the witness stand
By Kyle Schnitzer

Hope Hicks has been called to to the witness stand.

Hicks served as Trump’s 2016 campaign press secretary and went on to hold down several roles in the White House.

Her name has popped up a few times during Trump’s hush money trial while ex-National Enquirer publisher testified that she briefly attended an August 2015 meeting at Trump Tower.

Pecker said she would be the campaign’s “eyes and ears” about any negative stories that could hurt Trump, adding that Hicks was “in and out” of the meeting.

She no longer works for Trump.

By Kyle Schnitzer

Prosecutors showed jurors Donald Trump's tweets after the "Access Hollywood" tape was released — including a taped statement where Trump apologized for using words that "don't reflect who I am."

"Anyone who knows me knows these words don’t reflect who I am. I said it. I was wrong and I apologize," Trump says in the statement on Oct. 8, 2016.

The evidence was introduced after Georgia Longstreet, a paralegal for the Manhattan DA’s Office, testified on direct examination about her role at the office.

She testified that her duties was to save social media and news articles.

Longstreet was assigned to Donald Trump’s case for a year and a half, she testified.

Two Truth Social posts were shown to jurors.
