Lawmakers feel pressure on guns
By Melanie Zanona,Cristina Marcos and Mike Lillis - 02/20/18 08:31 PM EST

Lawmakers say they are feeling more pressure than ever to act on gun control after the latest deadly mass shooting at a public high school.

A large reason, aides and lawmakers alike say, is the emotional pleas from students who survived the shooting — and who have expressed horror at the idea that nothing will be done in response to the killings of their schoolmates.

The grass-roots movement, dubbed “Never Again,” has kept an extra layer of pressure on members to enact stricter gun laws and take other steps to prevent future massacres.

That is why our government isn't run by children or emotions.  Its like a parent; what they do and say is not always popular with a child but meant to keep them safe.  Gun legislation will not make children safer even though they believe that is what is needed.

The kids there are being used as useful idiot political props to push the agenda by the media and Hollywierd Leftists.

Notice that the same kind of thing did NOT occur a month ago in the aftermath of the rural KY school shooting.

That is because the local community refused to blame the guns and are talking about God, prayer and community.  It did not fit the media narrative that we should use this crisis to get rid of the 2nd Amendment.
