Israel's Elections Committee Votes to Bar Both Arab Parties
Haaretz, Sep 23, 2026

Israel's Central Elections Committee voted Wednesday to disqualify Mansour Abbas' United Arab List slate from running in the election, as well as left-wing Knesset member Ofer Cassif of the Arab-Jewish Hadash party and Balad chairman Sami Abu Shehadeh.

The decisions may be reversed by appeal to the High Court of Justice.

Disqualifying a party or candidate from running in Knesset elections is a far-reaching step, intended to be used with maximum caution and restraint due to the fact that disqualification runs counter to the fundamental right to vote and be elected, and infringes on freedom of expression.

Sounds like the Israelis have wised up and are taking the right course.

Sorry, folks, but not all political parties (nor those who compose them) should be treated equally.

That goes for here, too, as well as for there.

Wait until the muslims start up their own party right here in the USA.
Just a matter of time and accumulating strength through numbers.

Sorry if you don't care for this reply...
