Yes, any sane, rational American knows President Trump stepped into a big pile with the Iran War.  But he took care of a festering threat that lingered for decades with multiple presidents closing their eyes, keeping their fingers crossed and hoping the sh*t doesn't hit the fan while they are POTUS.  Trump said enough of this nonsense.  He made perhaps the toughest decision since Harry Truman decided to drop two nuclear bombs on Japan.  That decision is one that to this day I fully support 100%.

Would Americans prefer to wait until Iran launched a ballistic missile that targets New York City, or perhaps Washington, DC before doing anything?  If they do, they have sh*t for brains, and we know the UGLY TRUTH is that roughly half of America does in fact have a low IQ, a very low IQ.  Critical thinking as we all know has been removed from our educational process, so the average ninny we are graduating from high schools and universities can barely function two minutes with their nose out of synch with their smartphones.

I have my complaints about Trump, and I have expressed them often enough, but I would vote for him again versus allowing any stinking Democommie to become POTUS.  He made the tough call, and he did it largely alone, with minimal support from all involved.

When Barrack Obama became POTUS in January, 2009, within a very short period of time, he rifted 4,500 senior officers from our military.  And who were they?  I am 100% certain they were military officers that were registered Republicans.  He purged our military and put in key positions the pukes that were pushing the transvestite agenda, the gay agenda, and every agenda other than a warrior agenda.  And these men and women rose in the ranks.

When Trump came into office 1st term, he surrounded himself with many of these loyalists of Obama, and leaks were pouring out of the White House on a daily basis.  It was no mystery to me, but Trump embraced these cretins for two solid years, and they underminded him every step of the way.

Along comes Wrecking Ball Joe, a man absolutely dead from the neck up, and this puppet clown manages to last four disasterous years, with inflation at heights not seen since the wonderful years of Jimmy Carter.  And every step of the way, the military promoted some of the worst, the absolute worst cretins that were Obamanites.  Along comes Trump for a 2nd term and he tries to make it all work again.

How many senior officers have been purged by Hegseth and Trump?  A handful.  They are surrounded still by Obamanite senior officers, men and women that would gladly put a figurative knife in the back of the POTUS given the opportunity.

After a number of years go by, the decision Trump made in regard to Iran will equal that of Truman's decision to drop the nuclear bombs on Japan.  And well they should.  We were in a declared war by Congress, under the leadership of a POTUS that said unconditional surrender for the Axis powers.  And they did just that.

Trump launched this war with no support from Congress, and limited/passive support from the American people.  And our so-called allies, who are about as reliable as used TP were reluctant to show any form of support, including restricting our air force from flying over their countries, etc.  Again, he was out there making tough decisions and all alone.

The man has been alone for nearly six years, while Congressional Republicans have had their thumbs up their posterior, and the Democommies have been wanting to destroy this nation.  So I fully understand why many here are disenchanted with the do nothing Republicans.  Our only recourse is to find folks to run against incumbents, and find challengers to the Democommies that embrace conservative values.  How we go about that, I am not certain.  It is time for another special focus group to rise up like the Tea Party folks and dictate what is MANDATORY for all candidates running under the Republican banner.

I for one have had enough of the stinking UNIPARTY.  I usually refer to them as zebras, one party has white stripes, the other black stripes, and one simply can no longer distinguish them from one another.

But I assure all here, the very last thing you want to do is capitulate to the stinking Democommies, every last one of them can be considered a traitor for the lunatic crap they want to do to this nation.

They not only want to kill every unborn baby in this nation, they want to sterilize every child who decides they are transgender, and they want to do it behind the backs of the parents and/or take the children away from the parents, those who profess they want to be the opposite gender.  If someone had attempted that with one of my children when they were young, they would be swimming with Lucca Brazzi.

If the above is not good enough for you to turn out and vote solidly for Republicans in this election, and every election to follow, then you have surrendered to the greatest enemy of this republic!

Yahoo.. now that is an unbiased source. I see you use BLM labor rate at 4.2%.. much lower than Reagan's 7.5%. 4.2% is at the lower range, historically, over several of the last decades. A .1% movement ..up or down is statistically irrelevant. It can be that more people are coming back into the job market as more jobs are available in high paying manufacturing and construction.. Thank you Trump.

As for Reagan, he was my first vote when I turned 18..... just days before election. Loved the man, still do. Reagan was the best President of my life until Trump. Reagan is in a distant second place.  There is no comparing the economies of the two. Trump is by far the better. The 80's were tuff, bought my first house in 83 , got Ginny Mae money at 9.9%, fixed rates were north of 15% at the time so I felt damn lucky.

As for wages, how about an unbiased source.

https://archive.is/dLOTD

"For all presidential terms we examine at their 37th month, President Trump had the second lowest increase in prices, and the highest increase in real wages.  The Pandemic Recession that began immediately thereafter had many impacts on the economy, including soaring unemployment but continued low inflation.  The official wage and price data indicates that prices rose by 7.8%, and real wages increased by 7.1%, by the end of President Trump’s term in office. "

https://perc.tamu.edu/blog/2026/04/inflation-wages-mar-2026.html

"During President Trump’s first fourteen months of his second term, wages have grown at a 4.3% while prices have grown 3.6%.  The result has been a growth in real wages -- in the purchasing power of wages -- of 0.7%.

While Trumps second term has not been as spectacular as his first, so far. Real wage growth, has indeed outpaced inflation.

Attacking sources is a sign of weakness. And comparing Reagan to Donald Trump is forgetting the fact that Ronald Reagan inherited a much more dire economic situation than Donald Trump did.

Some of the links i posted were from the government itself. Plus some of your information that you posted is outdated.

Mine is recent

Wages have not kept up with inflation and I proved that in spades

Whether you accept that or not is your business. But voters know better. They see their paychecks not going very far.

That's why they've soured on the economy and Trump's handling of it

Why are you bringing up employment rates? That's not the subject

Fish, we are hearing rapid Weakening right before landfall. See the lines go from red (cat 3) to yellow-green (Cat 1/tropical storm) at landfall. Makes sense given the strong shear. Let’s hope wind shear doesn’t fail us.

@libertasbella

Wing...

Just realized the good ol' SHIPS model we used a number of years ago, has been replaced with CHIPS. (Coupled Hurricane Intensity System). Seems this one relies on fewer European models.  In any case,  5 of the 8 supporting models think it will be Cat1, and 3 of them estimate Cat 2.   But that iis peak max.  If you are seeing any dry air infiltration south of you in the gulf, that might be a good indicator of weakening prior to hit.

Perhaps you should take Sen Kennedy's advice

AI Bubble Risks Worst S&P 500 Crash Since 2008, Strategist Says

Quote:
(Bloomberg) -- The head of market strategy at a London investment bank has a stark warning for investors: the artificial-intelligence trade may soon be over in what could trigger the most severe market crash since the global financial crisis.

Equities have powered to record levels across the globe this year, fueled in part by optimism over surging spending on AI infrastructure. But Panmure Liberum's Joachim Klement said his base case is for that trade to disintegrate as soon as 2027, sending stocks sharply lower.

"My core conviction is that the AI bubble will either burst in 2027 or in 2028, so sometime in the next two years," Klement said in an interview. Hyperscalers' free cash flows are largely depleted, while the cost of debt is rising quickly and becoming prohibitive for these firms, he said.
