What makes you think Democrats hate the military? Just because they don't all support the US spending more on military than most of the rest of the world combined doesn't mean they hate the military. It doesn't mean they don't support the troops or understand the importance of having a functioning military.
You are correct...having spent almost all of my life connected to the military I can attest that there are Dems serving in the military.
