Ok, guys. I intend to make you all cry with jealousy. I just received a Harris Tweed handwoven 100% Scottish Wool sport coat for the Holidays! And it is tailored so well, it fits me like I was born in it! Read um and weep fellas, hahaha.

My Goodness. What a way to make my day. Beats getting a tie, or a pair of socks by miles.

This is close to my pattern. Mine is slightly lighter in color. The fabric is the same.

This is certification patch. That rectangle on the right is the registration number. Mine has a number, but I do not yet know how to look it up. I will research it and see if this number will give me the history of the jacket.

I'm very happy. I could not have been given a better gift.

Cheers to all and Happy Holidays all around!

I'm pouring shots to celebrate. If you all were here, I'd gladly pour you all one too.

SKOL!

Thank you Nancy and Tracy for your efforts here.  I know we disappoint you at times, but the temptations are too great... :taz:

To you both, and to everyone here, have a Merry Christmas and to those of other faiths, a happy holiday season.

I don't know what the New Year will bring, but I can always be hopeful.  God bless everyone.

Now I know what I put my Dad through. Its after 11PM, and Im long past ready for bed, yet my son is wide awake, asking me to check Santa Tracker one more time. Do I again this year have to set my alarm for 3AM to set presents under the tree?

Merry Christmas    Yawn

I've posted this picture before in Luis' Way Back Thursday thread - but I think it's appropriate here too.  This is me as a little girl in 1959 having a tea party with my babies on Christmas Day, in front of our Charlie Brown Christmas tree.

Merry Christmas everyone - I hope your Christmas is wonderful.  I love all of you guys!

There is something very special about black-and-white photos. Don't ever colorized it!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! May you all experience great joy in the coming year.
