Liberals are all for diversity and bringing the races together — except when they’re not.
Fox News host Tucker Carlson asked political commentator and Black Lives Matter supporter Lisa Durden why a New York City BLM “blacks only” Memorial Day event should be acceptable in a society that purports to be against segregation.

I think I may have met this woman. She is the classic stereotype of the 'Angry Black woman.' Just so full of self-hate, and a deep resentment of anything which they determine to be "White". This has nothing to do with 'slavery' or 'prejudice' as BLM may claim. This is nothing more than pure, refined, ignorance.

When I hear liberals talking about separate graduations or parades or whatever, Usually one of two questions shuts them up.

I'm not in favor of segregation, but I have no burning opinion against it either. If the Blacks want to segregate themselves, then I certainly won't do anything to stop them.

Absolutely racist. Openly racist. Proudly racist. Obama was the inspiration for much of this pervasive 'Hate Whitey' movement we are seeing today.
The most spectacularly bizarre part of the hate whitey movement, is the significant segment of it that are White people. Apparently, these people do not know history. The Jewish people who joined or supported the Nazi Party were killed right alongside all the rest. It never works. It will not save them in the end.

Yes, some people are simply scoundrels. I remember some political talk show from a few years ago where Michael Moore was a guest. The host or one of the guests tried to aske Moore a few questions about his stances on things. Instead of replying like a normal, sane person Moore went on a rant like the person in the video.
Some people you just can't talk to civilly. Which is why instead of inviting nuts on their programs, people like Carlson should just show tapes of their ranting and respond.
The idiot woman in the video was convinced of the righteousness of her cause and wasn't going to let something like civility, logic, and reason intrude on her beliefs.

Having been around during the sixties and all the effort to eliminate segregation in all areas of American life, I think many of the people, black and white, who fought to end segregation would be stunned to see the results of their work.
It was a given that any whites who wanted to segregate themselves from black people or other minorities were evil racists. Now you have large groups of black people who are demanding segregation.
I personally don't care who people associate with. I don't make racial demands on whom I associate with. There's a lot of white people I've known I don't want to be around, and maybe they don't want to be around me.
There are not a lot of black people where I live, so the race problems are not a big thing here.
As someone who was a supporter of integration back in the day I'd have to say I'm disgusted with the attitude of many black people today who want to segregate themselves.
I think maybe finding another country for these unhappy people might work out best. And no return.

Whether we like it or not, grievance in America is very profitable. All you have to do if you are in one of the dozens of "special class of people", is to be 'offended' about something to see a big payday. White Liberals will cheer you on, and sympathetic activist judges will almost always rule in your favor.
When you reward a certain behavior, you will necessarily get more of it.

Alot of the BLM hysterics is trying to maintain relevancy. Their Messiah Obama has transformed America with a huge influx of immigrants of all stripe. The ironic and unintended consequence is that now American blacks have far less importance in the ethnic mix than in the glory days of the 60's.
Instead of moving on, they've planted their feet in the past. Now they are desperate to reassert themselves atop the liberal racial caste system, and it takes pretty extreme antics to be heard these days.

Time to return to Race specific only Bathrooms and fountains etc. The lines will be shorter so that will be an advantage over whites for our Black brothers.

Most of Europe apparently wants manpower. With socialism benefits. Food, shelter, health care, etc. Without work.
So we should perhaps offer to Germany and others, our blacks. Advantage is they already (sort of) speak English.

I had to take the Army's Equal Opportunity Class to become the EO Rep for my unit and towards the end of our class I asked a question that really made the instructors uncomfortable.
After hearing for a week about how we're not supposed to just people anymore by race...avoid gender specific words or descriptions and the rest of the PC rot...I simply asked them this:
If we're supposed to look at everything equally and not focus on things like gender exclusivity why do we still have women's only colleges and highlight Historically Black colleges? Isn't that the antithesis of what you've been telling us all week?
None of them were willing to answer the question. They punted it to a discussion among the students after class was over.

Given the recent "Blacks only" Memorial Day celebration and the attempt to kick out all whites from Evergreen College...race relations have come full circle right back to 1954.

We just had an incident where a super-wealthy black athlete, Lebron James, purportedly had a racist word painted on his front gate of his LA mansion. There was no video of the bad word according to James's people, and they said they painted over it shortly after they found it on the gate. So the authoritities really don't know if it was a real, racist incident or one of the many hoaxes perpetrated by aggrieved groups over the last decades.
Naturally, James blamed white racists for the supposed deed and wailed about how hard it was to be a black person in America. James is estimated to be worth 250 million dollars, but things are awful for him.
At some point an average person has to ask themselves if it is possible for most black Americans to accept that they are not special people deserving of special status. If a black celebrity like James is not happy in a country that has made him fabulously wealthy, how will it be possible to make non-wealthy black people happy?
I'm sure there are millions of black people who are happy being Americans and don't complain and ask for special status. But I think they're in a very distinct minority.
