Another surprising reason Joe Biden should now step aside
Though Vice President Harris’ approval ratings are still poor, she is arguably more capable now than President Biden

Joe Biden is running out of excuses. While many Democrats have urged him to end his re-election bid, including friendly columnists like the New York Times’ Ezra Klein and Washington Post’s David Ignatius, it has been the conventional wisdom that Biden could not do so, fearful that an even less popular Kamala Harris would replace him as the 2024 Democratic candidate for president.

That is changing. Vice President Harris has been out on the stump, performing the kind of all-out energetic campaigning that the president cannot manage. She meets almost daily with women’s groups talking about abortion and Black groups talking about racial justice.

She travels incessantly to swing states to hand out money and programs, crediting the Biden-Harris White House – emphasis on Harris – with passing the enormous spending bills at the heart of the administration’s campaign.

She also frequently entertains important Democrats at her home in Washington, getting to know the important power brokers. Quietly, off the radar, even as she is being virtually ignored by Republican analysts and commentators, Harris’ efforts are paying off.

Trump trial in tatters after Michael Cohen's 'otherworldly' testimony
Jonathan Turley

The completion of the testimony of Michael Cohen left the prosecution of Donald Trump, like its star witness, in tatters.

In the final day of cross-examination, Cohen admitted to committing larceny in stealing tens of thousands of dollars from his client.

Even more notably, he admitted to the larceny on the stand — after the statute of limitations had passed. There will be no dead felony zapped back into life against Cohen, as it was for Trump.

Cohen clearly has found a home for his unique skill as a convicted, disbarred serial perjurer.

What Army Is The ICC Sending To Arrest Benjamin Netanyahu?
David Harsanyi

The same day the Biden administration and European Union offered their condolences over the death of Iran’s Ebrahim Raisi, the “Butcher of Tehran,” the chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), Karim Khan, sought the arrest of Benjamin Netanyahu and other Israeli war council members over imaginary war crimes.

The first question we need to ask is: Karim Khan and what army?

It’s not worth taking a deep dive into the intricacies of law and war, because Hamas does not recognize any moral or legal restrictions on warfare and the International Criminal Court has no real jurisdiction over anyone, anyway. Khan says, “Nobody is above the law.” But there is no such thing as international law. The term is a contradiction and a fantasy. Law is a system of rules regulating citizens — in our case, with the consent of the governed — and is overseen with due process and enforced with penalties. Americans do not recognize any international government, so there can’t be “international law.”

Though we occasionally enter treaties with other nations — neither the U.S. nor Israel signed onto the ICC agreement in 2002 — the ultimate authority that governs us is the Constitution. We do not recognize the ability of illiberal European institutions to punish our citizens, and neither does Israel.

None of that is to mention that the ICC is an enemy of the Jewish State masquerading as a court. Just read the indictment.

In a single word:  BLACKMAIL!!

Barack Obama is like Saint Peter at the turnstile at the Gates to Heaven He's got EVERY crime and deed recorded in his "Data Bank"...the one Maxine Waters bragged about many years ago.

Biden will do anything to keep his name and extended family from being 'flushed' down the toilet bowl of ruin.

Once Biden concedes defeat in November...or once he announces his withdrawal from the race itself, he will pardon his son and his brother.  The POS may even pardon himself!!

While there were McDonald's my parents would never dream of going to one when I was a kid. My dad worked hard, 6 days a week and two jobs for years, but Sunday was family day and we would go for a drive, or to regional parks and many times afterwards to the malt shop...remember those? thick malts that came in a tall glass with the metal mixing container on the side that still ha enough to almost fill the glass again?

I still have all that... To include the malt shop.

I'm counting on Joe to bail me out with CC debt forgiveness just like he did with student loans.

C'mon man. Help a brother out.  No joke. You gave the SC a middle finger.  You can do this.

What a pitiful way to look at a new vehicle!!!  When one of the first things someone thinks of is repair lessons, it says the rest of your equipment is junk because it is in constant need of repair.  That's what's on your mind.  They don't think of the fantastic ways it can be used; they think of repairs.  It's a hell of a way to run a military.

Evil Dr. Anthony Fauci was the villain of "Dallas Buyers Club" yet for some bizarre reason the star of that movie, Matthew McConaughey, years later sucked up to Fauci with an incredibly softball interview about COVID in August, 2020. McConaughey likes to portray himself as a politically independent thinker yet he carefully followed the liberal narrative while questioning Fauci. Keep in mind that it was Fauci's drug policies that McConaughey's screen character was angry about. Oh, and please don't tell me that the villain of the "Dallas Buyers Club" was not Fauci because the McConaughey character was railing against the FDA and Fauci was director of the NIAID. Everybody knows that Fauci was totally in control of drug policy and the film producers wanted to avoid legal problems by fictionalizing the villain although it was obvious who it was as Jimmy Dore pointed out.

When you watch the interview by Matthew McConaughey of Fauci you can see it was chock full of wild MISINFORMATION. This might explain why McConaughey now wishes he should have never allowed himself to be talked into interviewing Fauci. Nice touch there at the time to attempt to rehabilitate Fauci by having him interviewed by the actor whose character on screen denounced the Fauci character in "Dallas Buyers Club."
