Rep. Chip Roy says revelations about Biden migrant parole program are 'concerning'
Rep. Chip Roy spoke to Fox News Digital about the airports at which migrants are flying in under the CHNV parole program are landing.

Texas Republicans are criticizing a Biden administration parole program for four nationalities after it was revealed this week that three of the top destinations for migrants under the program are in Texas -- on top of the numbers it is already seeing coming across the border.

"It's just another layer to the entirety of what we're dealing with," Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas told Fox News Digital in an interview. "But that's what people need to understand, it's a very specific program designed to flood the system, misusing parole to do it."

Fox News reported this week on how official stats show that during an eight-month period from January through August 2023, roughly 200,000 migrants flew into the U.S. via a parole program for four nationalities. Of those, the vast majority landed in Florida, but three of the top 15 destinations were in Texas -- Austin, Dallas and Houston. Over 10,000 migrants traveled to those airports in that period.

Sorry but you support a guy who is not known to show fiscal restraint

Great.point!

MAGA tells us how unimportant fiscal discipline is, and that it is old-fashioned of us to care about it anymore.

Except when it comes to aiding Ukraine, though.  Then suddenly, MAGA becomes all about out of control spending , fiscal cliffs, etc, .  And I'm not taking about consistent budget hawks like some folks here, Rand Paul, etc.  I'm referring specifically to the MAGA crowd that dismisses, and even mocks, our concerns about Trump's spending.

Maybe MAGA's opposition to helping Ukraine is really about something other than fiscal discipline.  Hmmmmmm.

I see it this way, if Russia wins our grandkids are going to fight Russia and China.

Exactly.

The Europeans may lean left but they are not expansionistic.  The MAGA idea that we should lean towards Russia because they are nationalists rather than globalists ignores that distinction.

You can count on it, some of that money has made its way to terrorist "immigration" cells in the US. :im waiting:

How are they going to survive politically the article asks?  Amnesty for ILLEGALS allowing them to vote and making it mathematically impossible for a Republican to be seated again, be it the Senate, House or the Oval office.  Then ... the New World Order and the transformation of America will have taken place.

US Provided Over $17B to Afghanistan, Afghan Refugees Since 2021: SIGAR

SIGAR said $3.5 billion in assets were moved from the Afghan Central Bank to the Afghanistan Resilience Trust Fund (ARTF).

Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) said in its latest report that the United States has appropriated or otherwise made available $17.19 billion in assistance to Afghanistan and to Afghan refugees since the return of the Islamic Emirate.

SIGAR said $3.5 billion in assets were moved from the Afghan Central Bank to the Afghanistan Resilience Trust Fund (ARTF), and it counted this amount as part of the $17.19 billion total.

According to SIGAR’s report, these funds have been spent on humanitarian aid to Afghanistan and the cost of relocating and resettling Afghans who have worked with the US.

A part of the SIGAR report states: "$3.50 billion (was) transferred to the Afghanistan Resilience Trust Fund that is intended to protect macro financial stability on behalf of the Afghan people and could, in the long-term, include recapitalizing Afghanistan’s central bank, should the conditions materialize.”

Officials of the Islamic Emirate said the funds in the Afghanistan Resilience Trust Fund are part of the strategic reserves of the people of Afghanistan.
