Wow! That's pretty awesome stuff!

The use? The use, they ask? The use is light as fuel for light speed travel.
Apologies, to clarify, one of examples used to demonstrate faster than light travel, well, the inability of it, is the light on the front of a locomotive, doesn't move faster than the speed of light. With this new discovery, the light could be "attached" to the rear of the locomotive, like an outboard on a boat, to push the vehicle at the speed of light.

You still have the problem of increasing mass with increasing velocity.

Sorry, only had one napkin at the time!

No worries!!

No worries!!
Just as I was drifting off to sleep, this came to me, incorrectly termed the "Slingshot Effect" by the geniuses at NASA, who obviously never used a slingshot in their geeky lives but I digress, more correctly would be the "Hammer Throw Effect". Increased mass increases gravitational force, it's part of what keeps the solar system together. Use the increasing mass to increase velocity, like a bolo.
Acceptable?

How BORING!! I thought it was something meaningful like finding a brain in a liberal. :silly:
