Astronomers have spotted several mysterious structures close to the supermassive black hole at the heart of our galaxy.

The 'weird structures' appear to be able to survive the immense force of gravity of the Milky Way's black hole, known as Sagittarius A*.

These objects look like gas clouds but behave like stars, leaving experts baffled.
