DC GOP Vice-Chair Resigns Over Trump Nomination, Plans to Vote for Gary Johnson
In an article released by the Daily Beast, Gary Teal, vice-chair of the Washington, DC GOP revealed that he will be resigning from his post due to the fact that he cannot vote for the Republican Presidential nominee.
“If I’m not going to vote for the nominee, then I have to resign my position,” Teal said. “I’m prepared to do that.”

More fallout. Looks like Gary Johnson is getting a boost from Donald Trumps immaturity. I think this trend is going to continue. Donald Trump isn't fit to be president. I don't like everything about Gary Johnson but he may be the only option.

I think Castle would be a better choice to tell the truth
-
In the coming months the stories will come out about record party registration changes from GOP to independent.
I wish Gary Johnson was not so pro-abortion. I'm watching the polls for movement on Castle, who I would love to vote for, if his numbers rise.

Its time we start talking about alternatives.

Castle is getting my vote.
-
Cool.
I hope they all resign. This is exactly why millions voted Trump. This is exactly what they want.

Well, Gary Johnson does seem like the natural landing spot for your RINO's and Bush-Romney establishment types. Just the price our nominee pays for running against the old order establishment and PC crowd. Fortunately, GOP registration is up thanks to the Trump surge with traditionally conservative blue collar Reagan Dems and Independents.

You mean all of the Democrats that Trump brags about?

You mean all of the Democrats that Trump brags about?
Yes, he brags about bringing the Reagan Dems back....as he should.

Reagan Democrats? LOL! He's been courting commie Dems right from the beginning. Look how he went to bat for Bernie.

And they are getting it. A smaller party with less voters.

Johnson is more conservative than Trump.

Reagan Democrats in 2016 is a myth. They were a factor in the 1970's and 1980's but not today. Demographics is one reason. Second reason is the make up of the Democrat Party is different today than it was then. But it was during that period were the Democrat party started it's drift were it is today.

Yes, so true. Democrats were Democrats then not progressive Socialists/Communists.
I couldn't vote for Johnson either. He is too far left.

Nopr, he is bringing in the LIBERAL Democrats. The two parties have become identical and interchangeable.

Ya, those Bernie Dems are the Reagan Dems of yesteryear... That takes a lot of Kool-Aid to believe...

No comments on the most significant take from the story? That there exists, in Washington DC, a man of integrity? :tongue2:

Assuming he actually lived in the district and not outside it. lol

So, blue collar rust belt Dems are Socialists and Commies? Wow. You know so little of your own country. Just sad and unfortunate.

You seem to know so much about things you have never seen.
The blue collar rust belt Dems moved out years ago. Most are living in North Carolina. Some live in Texas. Census figures confirm this.
The rest of them are now government workers (including public school teachers), and those who live off welfare for a living. You know, Socialists and Commies.

If Reagan Democrats were a real demographic you wouldn't see so many Republican governors and state legislatures.
In all honesty I've see potholes with more depth than some of these Trump worshipers.

I quit the Republican Party and joined the Constitution Party this morning, and will be voting for Castle. Get the word out and help him...every vote, your included, will help.
-
I think Castle would be a better choice to tell the truth
There are many places where Castle isn't on the ballot (or have write-in status). DC is one.
@geronl

@geronl
He's not on the ballot and there is no write in in Louisiana.

Do you have a legitimate source for that wild claim?

Do you have a legitimate source for that wild claim?
They did, but it was on the scope end of their last "exam".

I was actually more shocked that DC actually has a GOP Vice Chair, which mean there must be an actual Chairman. From when I lived there all Republicans in DC could fit in a phone booth.
