Obama: I won't leave on Jan 20
By Daniel Chaitin (@danielchaitin7) • 12/31/16 6:00 AM •Updated: 12/31/16 9:59 AM

President Obama used his final weekly address in 2016 to make it plainer than ever that he won't retire quietly once Donald Trump is sworn in as president.

Couching his address to the nation as assurance that he will remain committed to defending the "progress" achieved by his administration, the president made it crystal clear that he intends to be a thorn in President Trump's side after the official handover of power on Jan. 20.

I foresee Obama acting as a commentator on every single thing Trump does.  A shadow president so to speak.  This will be unprecedented.......

While I don't care for Trump's Twitter usage, social media may prove to be an effective way to circumvent the dinosaur media and go straight to the people.  I'm gonna have to give him some slightly grudging kudos for that tactic.

Bammy is DESPICABLE and DEPLORABLE!  Obviously he's hoping that his liberal progressive agenda will survive and this clown is going to try to continue to lead from behind.  Get ready for backlash from both sides.  Bammy has done as much as he can while in office to create racial tension and civil unrest and apparently he feels he's 'entitled' to continue the destruction.  *mad*

Or as Donnie Trump would say, "Unpresidented".

For a moment there, I thought Obama wasn't planning on leaving the WH -- that he would have to be evicted.

He should vacate the WH today.  Give the new occupants time to have the place fumigated.

All the more reason for Trump to pursue the flagrant Birth Certificate fraud.

Apparently Obama doesn't understand why people elected Trump to office in the first place.  I guess Barack is intent on digging the Democrats' permanent political grave.

If this jackass uses Twitter to spread his BS, then I will spend every waking hour responding and trying to be as irritating to him as he hopes to be to Trump and the Republicans in Congress.  22222frying pan

I don't believe it. Obama is much too lazy to be a thorn in anyone's side.

If it comes down to saving his 'legacy', or sleeping late and playing golf. Lazy boy is going to do what comes naturally.

Bush certainly did,  he has never said one bad thing about Obama.

Apparently the last one who didn't was Woodrow Wilson.  Oddly appropriate.

Well,to be fair to both of them,Bathhouse Barry and Boy Jorge agree on more than they disagree with. Remember Boy Jorge practically begging congress to send him gun control bills to sign?

When was that?  And what was it?

BTW, I don't recall any other evidence that they agreed on very much.  (For example, it was Governor GWB who pushed through CCW in Texas before it became popular nation-wide.)

"When was that? "

The whole time he was president. The first time was early in his first year. The Dims were saying he was going to roll back "sensible gun laws",and he responded that he would sign into law any gun control bill passed by congress and sent to him.

" And what was it?"

A plea for more gun control. I would  have thought that would be obvious to anyone.

"BTW, I don't recall any other evidence that they agreed on very much.  (For example, it was Governor GWB who pushed through CCW in Texas before it became popular nation-wide.)"

He was in Texas then, and needed to be against gun control to gain support for a run for the presidency.

Boy Jorge and Obomer both also love Muslims, and Boy Jorge even pimped out the US Military to remove our ally and the man responsible for more fundie Muslim deaths that every other national leader in the world from power, and eventually hang him. Boy Jorge did this because his masters in Saudi Arabia were afraid of Saddamn Hussein.

committed to defending the "progress" achieved by his administration

know that I will be there with you every step of the way to ensure that this country forever strives to live up to the incredible promise of our founding — that all of us are created equal, and all of us deserve every chance to live out our dreams."

The Black Lives matter led to several police deaths, lootings and burned businesses.
Law-abiding white and black Americans have had enough.

Obama will be missed when he leaves the White House…
By the criminals and thugs.

For the rest of America – January 20th cannot get here soon enough.
