These States Are Making It Illegal For Illegal Immigrants To Enter

Conservative states across the country—Florida, Iowa, Louisiana, Tennessee, Georgia, and Oklahoma—are taking border security matters into their own hands, proposing or passing legislation targeting illegal immigration.

The Oklahoma legislature just passed a bill designed to prohibit illegal immigrants from entering or living in the state.

HB 4156 states: “A person commits an impermissible occupation if the person is an alien and willfully and without permission enters and remains in the State of Oklahoma without having first obtained legal authorization to enter the United States.”

The bill passed the state House and Senate by wide margins and Gov. Kevin Stitt, a Republican, is expected to sign it into law.

The legislature declared the issue a crisis in the state and stated in the bill: “Throughout the state, law enforcement comes into daily and increasingly frequent contact with foreign nationals who entered the country illegally or who remain here illegally.

“Often, these persons are involved with organized crime such as drug cartels, they have no regard for Oklahoma’s laws or public safety, and they produce or are involved with fentanyl distribution, sex trafficking, and labor trafficking.”

‘For The Love Of God’: Leaked Audio Reveals Dem Gov Ripping Biden Admin Over Border Security

JASON HOPKINS CONTRIBUTOR
April 26, 2024 3:56 PM ET

In a leaked audio recording posted on social media, New Mexico Democrat Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham can be heard expressing deep frustration with Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and threatening to send a letter accusing his department of failing to work with her on border security.

“For the love of god, put [Border Patrol agents] at the border in Sunland Park where I don’t have a single Border Patrol agent — not one. And people pour over. And so I’m cranky with the Secretary,” Grisham is heard saying in the audio, which was first posted by an anonymous account on X.

The conversation appeared to largely revolve around federal government seizures of licensed medical and recreational cannabis at Border Patrol checkpoints in New Mexico.

However, it’s not immediately clear who the governor was speaking with. A spokesman for her office confirmed to the Daily Caller News Foundation that the audio was authentic, but declined to identify who the other individual was, only saying the person was a “high level admin official.”

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s Presidential Campaign: By the Numbers

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is polling as high as 16% in some national presidential surveys. While not enough to win the presidency, it’s certainly enough to spoil another candidate’s bid for the White House.

What’s not immediately clear is which candidate.

Nationally, President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump are neck and neck, both polling at 46%, according to a Quinnipiac University National Poll released Wednesday. When Kennedy is added into the mix, both candidates lose the same percentage of votes, with Biden and Trump polling at 37% and Kennedy at 16%. A Decision Desk HQ poll, which averages 130 presidential polls, shows the same thing: a dead heat between Trump and Biden when Kennedy is in the race.

A well-documented lack of enthusiasm for a potential rematch between Biden and Trump has pushed some voters to look for a third option. And while a small number of third-party or independent candidates have joined the race, Kennedy is the most prominent of them.

It remains to be seen which party’s standard-bearer will be affected more by Kennedy if he’s on the ballot in November. A lifelong Democrat turned independent, his environmentalist background and legacy last name could pull Democrats from Biden. But the noted vaccine skeptic who has publicly advanced a number of conspiracy theories could very well appeal to members of the same anti-establishment faction that have thus far cast their lot with Trump.

In the political website FiveThirtyEight’s collection of favorability polls, 37.7% of Americans polled have a favorable opinion of Kennedy, compared to Trump’s 42.1% and Biden’s 39.9%. Of course, no level of support matters if Kennedy can’t get on the ballot – and some states aren’t making it very easy...............

..................Currently, Trump is ahead in swing states Michigan, Arizona, Nevada and Georgia. Trump and Biden are tied in swing states Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

Richards says Kennedy seems to be pulling votes from both candidates. Regardless, Kennedy has the potential to cause either candidate to lose a swing state by a narrow margin, he says.............................

Green calls for Biden ‘emergency’ wartime climate powers are truly scary
The President cannot control humanity’s emissions: all he can do is weaken America

When media reports about the White House considering having President Biden declare a “climate emergency” rose in the summer of 2022, White House officials claimed the administration has always treated the climate as an emergency, citing the just-passed Inflation Reduction Act as proof.

Apparently, the celebratory novelty of the IRA has worn thin, and that narrative is no longer enough to placate the climate alarmist billionaires who fund much of the President’s campaign for re-election. As is always the case with the climate lobby, no amount of subsidy money is ever enough, and one tranche of billions in federal rents only gives rise to demands for more.

Bloomberg reported recently that according to unnamed sources, Biden’s advisors are again debating whether to press the “emergency” button as campaign season heats up and the President’s approval ratings continue to sag. When asked to comment on the rumors, spokesperson Angelo Hernandez repeated the 2022 narrative, saying:

RFKjr must be taking votes from Trump now...

Likely RFK Jr is polling ahead of Biden.  However, I'm not sure if he has qualified to be on the ballot in all 50 states.

I think Trump is continuing to become unhinged.  How can he not?  The left is keeping him from campaigning and therefore he has no way to let off some steam and relay to his supporters how harshly he's being treated and what a great president he was. Letting off that steam I believe is what has helped him not to have a complete melt down.  They've got his hands tied.

No, Climate Change Isn’t A Child Labor ‘Threat Multiplier’, But Green Policies Are
by Linnea Lueken  6 hours ago

A recent Bloomberg article describes a new tool that scores companies based on how much they rely on child labor, which the news outlet claims is exacerbated by climate change. This is false. [emphasis, links added]

While weather disasters can force people into desperate circumstances, extreme weather is not getting worse.

Further, it is much more likely that the increasingly forced energy transition to renewable energy technologies in the name of stopping climate change is a much more direct child labor threat multiplier.

In the article, titled “Climate Change Poses a Child Labor ‘Threat Multiplier’,” Bloomberg describes the new tool as an AI-driven index it refers to as a “newly developed quantitative approach [that] may help raise its prominence as an environmental, social, and governance issue.”

This corporate-speak means that it is supposed to be used to pressure companies that rely on high amounts of child labor anywhere in their supply chain.

Video: Incredible Tornadoes Wreak Havoc Across the Heartland
By Nick Arama | 9:19 PM on April 26, 2024

There are some incredible visuals of tornadoes coming out Friday evening and unfortunately, they're also causing a lot of damage across the heartland. There have been reports of at least 59 tornadoes across Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, and Iowa, as of 7 p.m. ET, according to the National Weather Service.

This visual caught an incredible view of a tornado around Lincoln, Nebraska, by a storm-chasing team.

They also went to help after a semi-truck that overturned, then determined that the driver was okay.
