The Obama administration announced Monday that it would hold a special “youth summit social” on Dec. 4 for the “people who engage” the White House on social media.

The White House also requested that participants “spread the word” by using the Twitter hashtag “#WHYouth,” prompting intense mockery and snickering from certain corners of the Internet.

Apparently, some social media users felt that the White House’s “youth” tag was just a tad – creepy:

Seriously folks, when was the last time a White House Communications office was this frackin' dysfunctional??  They sound like a Junior High School pep club and they have been proven wrong on their facts so many times I've lost count.  And that Obama keeps playing along with this like it is a great idea is even more disturbing.

I'm waiting for the next shoe to drop....

Obama, in his mind, is living in some kind of Socialist dictatorship. He does not live in or accept America as a valid country.

He thinks he is president of Venezuela. I am not joking. These people in this administration just do not 'get' America. America confuses them.

I am not sure where Hussein is from, but I know Jarrett is Iranian and half of Hussein's people are Muslim from who knows where.

We actually have a government which is not American. This is crazy.

You can't do this stuff here without looking totally stupid...jeez, get a grip.

I was actually called "insane" in 2008 when I proclaimed Obama would turn the USA into Venezuela....   The people who insisted I was nuts said it was an impossibility for one president to usurp our constitution.

BTW did anyone besides happyg and myself watch the hearings on this very subject this morning on cSpan?  Everyone should have and BTW Jonathan Turley made some real swipes at John Roberts without using his name.

I watched only the last 5 min. Why was Turley there?

I watched only the last 5 min. Why was Turley there?

He is a constitutional professor at Georgetown University. I enjoyed his testimony.  The guy at CATO noted all the Democrats left the room rather than have a honest discussion and they all pointed out this is always a matter of which side has it's ox being gored and why we have gone so far from the constitution but what Trent Franks brought up (used to be my congressman until redistricting) about this deal of the senate removing everything from a congressional bill and inserting OCare definitely is the bill originating in the senate which is unconstitutional and congress either needs to fight this and reclaim the establishment clause of the constitution or our Republic is pretty well screwed.  Turley also stated that it is not incumbent on the voters (as John Roberts stated) to right the wrongs of an unconstitutional law - that it is WHY SCOTUS exists in the first place and there is no excuse for using this as an excuse to not make an appropriate ruling on a law's constitutionality... and as soon as the government decided this was a tax and the tax did not originate in congress it became an unconstitutional law.

If it is an unconstitutional law, then why should any American have to obey it? Another thought that came to me this morning was 'The Pledge of Allegiance'. When we recite the Pledge, we are pledging our loyalty to the flag, and to the Republic. Obama, indirectly and along with democrats,  is ordering us to pledge our loyalty to the government, rather than what is spoken in the Pledge of Allegiance. It is not possible to be loyal to our country and at the same time, be loyal an unconstitutional government.

Loyalty to the Constitution and to the Republic which it governs requires opposition to those who seek to overturn it - especially if such disloyal people are running the government. And I submit, they presently are.
